Missive has many features I like. One of the features I like most about Missive is being able to collaborate with others through chats on threads. This helps with getting tasks done promptly.
The layout of Missive is very clean and organized, that is another thing I like about Missive. The organization part of Missive is great.
The ease of integrating other apps into the system was easy and makes it easy to access the other apps from one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some features on Missive that I disliked. When merging conversations/ messages, it was not able to separate or unmerge the conversations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main reason I like Missive is its unified inbox. I appreciate how an admin can choose which messages I can read, keeping my inbox organized and free from irrelevant messages intended for other departments.
Another feature I appreciate is the ability to type a message (like a suggestion for the team) and mark it as a task. This allows the person receiving the suggestion to easily track which messages have been addressed and which ones still need attention. Even amidst numerous messages, these suggestions remain visible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I don't like about Missive is its user interface. I find it difficult to navigate compared to the previous tool we used. It seems more complex and cluttered. If they could redesign it with a simpler and more streamlined interface, there's no doubt Missive could be a powerful tool for teams within a company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It has great integration with other app although limited as of the moment.
It's easy to use, but hopefully even if you are not tagged in the thread you will see be able to open the message
We use it all the time in all our sales thread and other operation emails. I like the feature if merging emails so that way all message are group by client's email add
When the company implemented the migration from our old email provider to missive, the migration is not that hard as missive is easy to use and navigating the app is fun.
The customer support is good as whenever we have a downtime, our admin immediately contacts support team and the system is back again Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish they can include the seen feature wherein when your client has seen your message you will know Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Juggling multiple apps for different communication channels can be a nightmare. With Missive, it eliminates that hassle by seamlessly integrating email, text messaging, and chat features into a single, unified platform. This surely saves time, reduces app clutter, and keeps all conversations organized for each project. Totally would recommend Missive to everyone! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For the past months, I have been using the Missive app every day for work, and everything works perfectly. It is easy to use, and could easily communicate the projects with the team. I am more of looking forward to what other features Missive could offer in the future to further personalize the communication experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have alot of fragmentation amongst my company that manages airbnbs and team members so missive has become a game changer to respond to our guests and direct booking channel and also communicate with team in missive vs in slack. I can respond much faster this way if I'm on the go working on new projects as email is king and my main place I used to check thousand times a day, now a lot less with team inboxes The chatgpt integration is awesome and a lifesaver. I like it enough to have nothing bad to add. If there was an airtable integration that would be awesome Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Missive makes delegating emails to team members a breeze. It also has excellent integration for creating tasks directly in ClickUp and enhancing emails with ChatGPT. I find myself using Missive more than Google Mail, even for just checking and responding to emails. Additionally, it offers powerful rules and automations, and I love the feature that allows all email accounts to be viewed in one unified interface. The few times I had an issue, Phil from their support team was very helpful and assisted right away, giving it a small company feel with their level of support. I don’t have any real complaints about Missive. Although their pricing recently increased and they were more affordable before, the value it provides is still great. Compared to other software like Front, which I find way overpriced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite thing about Missive are the collaborative features. The ability to tag team members or share entire threads is extremely useful. I also really enjoy the design of the program. I spend a good chunk of my day in emails, so it's nice being able to have a piece of software that is pleasing to the eye and easy to use. Lastly, their support is top notch. Every time I email their support, I receive well-researched answers, oftentimes within minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do not like that prices were raised. That being said, I understand that the developers need to make money and Missive is still more cost-effective than many other competing products. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We've been using Missive for years and it's a core part of our stack. We love being able to collaborate across the team without the craziness of email forwarding. It's also a super powerful tool with many customizations to make your inbox work for you. Whenever I have issues, the Missive team is quick to respond and help out. Having a ton of functionality often means setting things up is pretty complex. That said, they've done a great job at offering all of the functionality and organizing settings so you can figure it out. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What i love about missive is the ability to engage and connect with our teammates around communication about our clients with easy use. The mobile version is very easy to navigate. I also love its ability to connect with multiple systems. For example, we use Aircall for our call system and we can see the the communication and the call recordings on missive for that client. Its phenomenal. I heard great things from our COO on ease of implementation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do believe they can do a little better in finding ways to make the colors and layout easier on the eyes. At times it can feel like a lot especially for someone like me who is not organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We are a shipping services company, so we have a lot of email on a daily basis. We have tried many email management programs, but we have chosen missive because it is the most powerful of all the ones we have tried. It's not just an easy of use email management program, it's a whole platform for organizing emails as it includes calendar services, to-do lists, email assignment & comment systems, rooms (chat), pins, labels (tags) and a whole bunch of other add-ons that you can put in to customize it the way you want it. It is also very responsive as it can easily be used on mobile devices. It's been our main email management program for years and we've been completely satisfied with it. Finally, the service is always prompt and helpful with courteous staff ready to respond to your requests. We highly recommend it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We wish the search was better and you could search for attachments (e.g. pdf) by typing their name in the search bar and still their long term customers could have slightly better pricing packages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We selected Missive for our internal daily business communications because it allows us to perfectly organize constantly incoming information. By adding HubSpot integration to the right sidebar, we save time in keeping our CRM updated. The feature we appreciate the most is the ability to snooze threads, which serves as daily reminders for our to-do items. Labels help us organize threads and save time in navigating chats. We chose this tool for its ability to send emails from our colleagues' email addresses. The integration with OpenAI is also remarkable and significantly speeds up our processes. Their customer support is fast and responsive; I typically receive help within an hour, sometimes even faster. The interface is simple and user-friendly. We use Missive on a daily basis and recently subscribed to the yearly plan. Thank you for the great service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No Notion integration yet, but it's in their roadmap and we're looking forward to its implemetation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Missive is very helpful in allowing us to collaborate and at the same time automate and semi automate customer interactions. The fact that all channels come into one inbox is extremely efficient. And having chats regarding emails that are private within the team is super helpful in pushing and assigning tasks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have yet to find a dislike. More like "wish list" items. Since we are an e-commerce company, we wish we had better insight into our Woocommerce shop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I consider missive to be one of my finest discoveries which enables my businesses and the teams within them to run smoothly, efficiently and effectively.
The easy team collaboration features and email routing to specific team inboxes is just something I cannot live without especially as our business has large emphasis on inbound enquiries which requires team communication across multi destination offices.
Missive is a total game changer for us, there is so much smart and well thought out functionality all wrapped up in a single piece of software that I simply would not do without.
Thank you to the team for constantly developing Missive, we've gone from good to great because of your system! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a little challenging to set up and get a grasp on certain features but that's because there are so many.
A piece of advice, please take time to make this right for you and you will never look back. Use support when you need them because they are extremely prompt and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've tried every email client out there. None of them fit the bill for me. Gmail is the most powerful, but I don't like working in the browser and not being able to combine multiple accounts into one email client. I tried spark and countless others and settled on Missive. It's very nicely designed, is great for teams with chat and assignments, and easily pulls in multiple inboxes. The team is super responsive and they seem to be always working on new things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't really think of a downside, I guess if there's one thing I would say is that as a super minimalist, I think the UI could be even a bit more minimal. I could live with less panels and more "focus" like tempo used to have, before they went out of business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Missive is its seamless integration of email and chat functionalities. It's incredibly convenient to have everything in one place, especially for a team like ours that relies heavily on email for communication and collaboration. The ability to collaborate in real-time on drafting emails and managing tasks has significantly improved our workflow and productivity.
Additionally, I truly appreciate the exceptional support provided by Missive's support team. They are responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist whenever we face challenges or seek guidance. Their dedication to customer satisfaction further enhances our experience with the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As for dislikes, the only thing that comes to mind is the inability to see when my team members log in for management purposes. Since we operate virtually, it would be helpful to have visibility into each team member's activity for coordination and accountability. However, I appreciate that Missive allows users to submit feature requests, and I've already added this suggestion to the list. The fact that other customers can upvote it gives me hope that it might be implemented in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using Missive for a very long time. Why? Because it's amazing and by far the best email and custom support tool I've ever used. It's easy to use, super fast, works on web, desktop or mobile. It has rules so you can auto assign things or whatnot.
I tried them "all" (20+) and there is not even a close second.
Thanks folks for the constant improvements! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None, really? Just a feature I wish was there: having some rules with AI that could detect if an email is about a topic, seems to be salesy, if it's a cold email or something like that, to help triage emails. But that's just a feature request :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Team collaboration is great. I love that we can add shared inboxes, and hold conversations between emails, and the best feature to me is being able to tag someone in the comments and allowing them to respond to the email thread from their email.
We as a team were previously using Front. Missive offers a much cleaner UI with almost all the same functionality for a much lower price. They have been super responsive anytime we have any questions.
It didn't take long at all to implement and get the whole team onboard. We are all using it on the daily! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One feature I miss from Front is being able to share availability links for booking events.
The calendar in missive cannot view meeting participants' availability to select a time everyone is available.
Other than that, loving it! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Working remote means we have threads for everything. I really appreciate how easy it is to create threads, discuss action plans linked to emails and can close the loop in Missive, without having to jump out to another tool. Their support team is always very responsive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While I get a lot out of the tool, I don't think I'm getting the full functionality out of it. Onboarding new team members can often have some bumps to get over, but again, support is always very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I mostly use Missive for it's team inbox functionality, we use it all the time because it makes it really easy to keep tabs on team conversations. Being able to assign conversations to a person, and take notes internally is tremendously valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I still use a separate email client for my personal inbox, I'm sure it works well, but I'm stuck in my ways. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Missive lets me tag in my teammates. I don't have to do endless CCs. I can also have internal conversations about a thread easily! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface can be a little difficult to get the hang of, especially for new users. But once you get past that learning curve, it is well worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Email on steroids. It can do so much and it has become one of the main tools I use, especially for communication. I put all of my email in there and it is significantly better than any other tool out there that I have been yet able to find. I have been suggesting Missive to people I know for a long time, as I've been using it since 2020. Also brilliant that instead of forwarding all emails to Missive, you are using it as IMAP/SMTP so all of your emails reside on your server, not on their server, which means if you decide to leave, it is significantly easier compared to other tools (though would you actually want to?) The support is top notch, personalized, and fast. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pricing. It felt high per user and then they raised the pricing again. Granted if you compare them to the others, like Front, Helpscout, Zendesk, they are less with (IMHO) greater value.
The search feature. It relies on your email server which means it can be slow sometimes, or not work at all like earlier today (some accounts weren't fully set up so didn't work when I needed it).
Overall they're still the best out there - I've looked. If you are an email power user, you should be using Missive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Missive is a pretty helpful tool that allows for multiple teams to view and conversate amongst themselves in a client thread. It ensures that everyone is one the same page which increases the client experience. Less bothering the client and more valuable conversations. My team uses it daily and cross integrated apps like Asana and Aircall. Very userfriendly.
We previously used front so it was fairly easy to inplement but they assist you with questions if needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a bit difficult to adjust to if you are not used to the backend communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had compared this to Front Desk and a couple of others. Front Desk was just too expensive and my concern with going with a smaller outfit quickly and completely disappeared. Our productivity skyrocketed, workflow simplified, and their support is always quick and thorough - I'm now on year 6 with Missive!
Easy to use
Easy to implement
Easy to integrate to PipeDrive and Google Calendar
We use all day everyday! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would love the ability the search function to include chat rooms. PLEASE Missive!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Missive has been a game changer for our accounting firm when it comes to email management and delegation. In addition, their integrations with our project management system (Clickup) and OpenAI have been awesome features too. When paired with excellent customer service, Missive has emerged as our go-to tool for boosting output and collaboration. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There has been an occassional glitch or two - but overall it's been an extremely smooth app to use and not much to dislike! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Missive is super powerful for teams of all sizes, doesn't matter if you're a team of one or a team of 100. If you're in the need to triage your inbox and be able to assign conversations to teammates, Missive is the only product you need. It can support multiple inboxes so if you have multiple departments (or businesses), you can use Missive to run the show across all inboxes and get a holistic view of messages. Also, the team behind missive is really active, so they're constantly pushing new features based on community feedback. Releases are happening almost every other week or more frequent. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Pricing can be a concern for small businesses, especially one-man teams.
Other than pricing, there's not much to dislike about Missive as a product. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
