Lark is a very useful tool for workplaces. It's filled with useful features such as video meetings, chat, email, and much more. We use it daily at my company, and it is incredibly useful. It was very easy to implement at our workplace. The customer support is good, and they are very helpful. It took us only around 2 days to set it up in full, and it made our workplace much better. Some of the documentation is exclusively available in Chinese, which makes some problems take longer to fix. Also, one of their documentation pages say they provide an ADFS integration, but I am struggling to find any other mention of it or a setup guide. Also, the web interface is lacking some major features (like the forced signature in Lark Mail). Overall, all of these issues are minute when compared to the positives of using Lark. Working with Lark this month has completely transformed the way my team communicates and works on projects. Features of team collaboration are highly recommended. I like big apps that I can integrate with, like GitHub and Jira. One of the biggest benefits of Lark's project management system is the ability to customize automatic reports. It's an integrated Google docs / Slack / Kanban and everything else replacement. The group chat features are intuitive and well-designed. I manage workstreams across xfn colleagues across English and Chinese, and the translation tools are top notch a well. A lot of sensible design decisions and clearly empathy for use cases.

The document suite is a strong step above Google's offerings and more in-line with the quality you'd expect from Notion or Coda. Also, the stickers are cute!

I'd say there are some unintuitive interactions - although minor.

One new feature that I have big gripe with is the default to opening docs in Lark rather than in a browser tab like before. It makes doc organization messier - it's also possible to layer open docs inside the Lark UI, so you'd need to "x out" of 3-4 docs inside Lark before seeing the folder hierarchy again. The best features about it are:

1. There are tons of dates I have to cope up with which makes it difficult to remember every important event. Lark has a team calender feature which lets me be reminded of the important dates and also share them with my team.

2. Lark integrates chat, video conferencing, file sharing, and even expense reporting all into one place, which makes it so easy for me to perform various tasks and simultaneously manage the expenses side by side.

3. There are times when I need to take into consideration the opinions of my team members on various matters, and that is when Lark comes into play. The least helpful features about it are:

1. Lark is great to use for communication within the the enterprise with your team members but it is not optimum to use for communicating with external professionals and enterprises who are unavailable on Lark.

2. Sometimes our team members look for some specific features and use cases but the features on offer appear a bit overwhelming with a lot to navigate.

En Base a mi esperiencía usandolo lark pongo mis siguientes observaciones del producto

Traducción: Es real la precisión de la traducción de los 3 idiomas predeterminados, pero nos gustaria que ya lo habiliten en español, sobre todo porque nuestra comunicación es directamente con china, aunque hay incrementado la mejora de la comunicación con ellos atravez del chat y los documentos, nos gustaría que lo habilitaran para idioma español para llamadas y videollamadas.

Calendarío: Exelente para administrar nuestros tiempos y reuniones, nos da una visibilidad y trazabilidad de lo que hacemos día con día haciendolo siempre mas productivo. sobre todo porque ahi mismo puedes agregar las meeting notes en las reuniones y puedo volver a regresar a ver que paso o si no tuve oportunidad de ir a la reunión puedo retomar la grabación y ponerme en contexto.

Almacenamiento: Nos ha funcionado bien para Administrar y compartir archivos en diferentes formatos, hemos tenido limitantes al subir archivos porque manejamos cantidades grandes de información y de archivos por ejemplo Excel que pesan mucho. y espero lo puedan expandir para ciertos clientes.

Documentos: Me ha encantado la facilidad para realizar el maquetado de mis proyectos en los documentos con las herramientas de maquetación que tiene y sobre todo la practicidad de insertar documentos sobre el mismo, videos, imagenes, Excel etc tiene mucho para crecer e ir incrementando su practicidad. lo que yo agregaría es solo poder darle formato para imprimir en distintos tamaños ya que en ocaciones hay que imprimir algunos formatos y los margenes de impresión cambian entonces tengo que ajustar manualmente. Para los documentos en Excel hay diferencia entre las formulas que se usan en español hay ciertos problemas con algunos colaboradores que no estan familiarizados con el ingles.

Base: Considero que es lo mas fuerte que tiene lark la integraciones con API, con Aprobaciones y los flujos de automatización es lo que mas usamos día con día, nos ha ayudado a resolver problemas que por tamaño de datos y formulas y actualizaciones nos llevaban días en hacerlo hoy con lark me toma horas en hacerlo y da mucho valor a los usuarios, lo unico que propongo que es se de una buena capacitación con esperiencia de otros usuarios el saber como solucionaron los problemas dentro de su organización para poder aplicarlo a otras empresas ya que la documentación solo viene como usarlo.

Temas de configuraciones y levantamiento de lark

Al principio no fue sencillo porque nuestra organización no estaba bien estructurada hicimos cambios en la organización implementado niveles de usuarios, puestos organigramas y departamentos, entonces fue mucho mas sencillo configurarlo ya que por temas de aprobaciones y attendance necesita flujos, y decisiones todo parte de los usuarios como lo tengas configurado ahora nos es mas facíl el uso de la administración de lark.

wikis

Es una herramienta de base de conocimientos que se esta implementado por ahora , el reto que estamos enfrentando es poder hacer una telaraña de información para distintos tipos de usuarios sobre todo porque no todos deben tener derecho a la información. nos gustaria que dentro de las wikis se pudieran habilitar permisos para vistas del documentos por niveles o perfiles de usuario ya que por el momento la asignación de wikis seria manual para cada usuario pero de momento nos ha servido para plasmar nuestros procesos, manuales e instructivos de trabajo.

OKR es algo que quiseramos implementar una vez que la adopción de nuestros lideres este completa con la capactiación adecuada para poder llevar al siguiente nivel, cambiar el paradigma actual y la cultura de trabajo tener nuestros objetivos y KPI bien alineados. It's got everything I need for me as a new solopreneur - an online appointment management software, a full-featured tasks software (that gives the likes of JIRA, Asana a good run for their money) and all the basic productivity apps I need. Lark makes my day so much more efficient and productive. It does an amazing job at creating a seamless experience across all the functions it offers such as chat, video conferencing, calendar, docs, and even project management. Honestly I have loved everything about Lark so far. I was a bit worried about having to migrate all my data from my previous tools over to Lark, but the process was so simple and fast. I was also worried that with all the funcitons Lark offers, it might be a steep learning curve and will take a while to get started, but Lark's UI/UX is so intuitive it was really easy to learn and I became a pro in no time. Lark is amazing at collaboration and task management. Furthermore, the app is constantly upgrading, adding more integrations with the most popular and commonly used SaaS platforms on the market. This tool is so great because it synthesizes all the other tools in the market into one platform, with amazing video conferencing as good as Zoom, Slack-like messaging service, Jira-like project management, Notion-like document collaboration, Google Sheets-like spreadsheet software, and so much more with the best UI/UX I have ever experienced with a product. I haven't really experienced many issues with Lark at all, but it would be nice for them to release a Slides platform although I know they have an Alpha version out already. 1) overwhelming information sometimes. This is very minor but sometimes, it could seem like there are too many notifications and information.

We started using Lark as they promised a more centralized approach to collaboration tools. We had struggled in the past to achieve this as the tools we were using were not embedded to the applications we use daily. We are very happy to use Lark and it has saved us a great amount of time since we started using it. Our workflows across teams are more efficient, even while working with a global team. Having used Lark as well as other tools for work, I must say that Lark is one of the best and easy to use platform.
