Software Freedom Law Center opens

by Matt Lee Contributions Published on Feb 12, 2005 10:10 AM

Eben Moglen, FSF Director and Legal Counsel, announced the creation of the Software Freedom Law Center (SFLC). The creation of the SFLC will offer the FSF additional legal resources in its L/GPL Compliance efforts.

FSF President Richard Stallman said, "The FSF has been talking with Eben Moglen for some time, planning how we will work with the SFLC. We expect to work closely with the SFLC, which will lend its legal resources to the Free Software Foundation and to other free software developers."
