Richard Stallman will speak about the goals and philosophy of the Free Software Movement, and the status and history of the GNU operating system, which in combination with the kernel Linux is now used by tens of millions of users world-wide. Stallman will also be delivering a 30-minute introductory speech on the free software philosophy from 08:45 to 09:15. Registration is required. The talk will be accessible to all audience and all are encouraged to attend.
