But, because this observation does not address Christ or the Trinity, it provides us with little insight into the precise nature by which Islam further reveals the
Triune God of Christianity.
Author Paul Collins has amassed tremendous detail about the church's long discussion over the significance and meaning of the confession that God is
triune. It is not likely that one would find as much information about the Trinity amassed in such few pages and, in that regard, this is an excellent overview of the doctrine of the Trinity.
It works in that it helps us make sense of the
triune God revealed to us in Jesus Christ as attested by the Holy Spirit in Holy Scripture.
