Paul Stagg, representing the council, said that as experienced foster carers the Lamberts should have been aware they could expect difficulties.

Also, it is not true to suggest Lambert has lost the fans because there are still many, like me, who back him and the club 100 per cent in what they are trying to do and how they are realistically trying to go about doing it.

The reality is that Lambert hasn't lost the fans at all but has just felt their current and understandable frustrations.
