St. Bede School, in Ingleside, was formally recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School under the category of "Exemplary School," meaning these schools are among the nation's highest academic performing schools as measured by state assessments or nationally normed tests.

St. Bede's church and Lutherans of Sc Stephen's church together formed the Mount Royal Centre in order to own equally the building in which both congregations worshipped.
Vincent de Paul Society and was an active and enthusiastic volunteer at
St. Bede Church.

Stephen's Lutheran Church, then a church of the Lutheran Church of America - Canada Synod, sold its building and moved down the street to share quarters with
St. Bede's.
