The 29-year-old defender has been let go almost three years after he last played a game for the club – at Sunderland on the final day of the 2017/18 Championship-winning season.

Portuguese centre-half Miranda had a season-long loan spell at Greek club Olympiacos before spending the entirety of last term back at Famalicao in his homeland.

Since the summer, though, he has been training with development players at Compton.

His Wolves deal was due to expire at the end of this campaign.
