Then, for the first time in 50 years, Israel has deployed ground troops into Syria beyond a demilitarized buffer zone in an attempt to protect their border region from extremist threats. We’ll discuss the implications, as well as the latest updates on Israel’s air campaign in Syria, which has now destroyed nearly 80 percent of the former Assad regime’s military capabilities.
