Description
Life after death
Do we survive bodily death? Can our personal awareness transcend physical decay and dissolution?
Does consciousness continue after a person has died ?
Consciousness after death is a common theme in society and culture in the context of life after death. Scientific research has established that the mind and consciousness are closely connected with the physiological functioning of the brain, the cessation of which defines brain death.

Consciousness is awareness. Spirit is your true essense (the part of you that always has been and always will be) and has it’s own consciousness.
We have 3 levels of consciousness.
Mind consciousness - you are most likely most aware of this and probably identify yourself as this.
Soul Consciousness - (Soul being the structure that allows your spirit to interact with your human body)
Spirit Consciousness - who you really are.
All three make up ‘YOU’. All make up your awareness/ego/personality/etc. How much you are aware of all three determine how much your are aware of and able to truly be in the moment and a part of the all of everything.
First: you might want to define consciousness and then spirit which might be easily confused.
Consciousness defined: As related to the mind…versus unconscious or unaware , not the subconscious which we are not aware of.
