Description

Lauren and Teia decided to make Glassdoor a regular feature. After all, it's one of our only reference points when we want to understand people's experiences of working for an organisation. Glassdoor is a website that allows anyone to publicly review organisations they work for or have worked for in the past. Teia and Lauren share some shocking reviews but this time from the United Nations and reflect on the similarities and differences that are affecting employee happiness and well-being. Caveat: Teia and Lauren take no responsibility for your thoughts on these particular organisations after you have listened to this episode #itmightsting. Teia and Lauren also recognise that individuals have different experiences at the United Nations including positive ones! Trigger Warning! This episode reads reviews that speak negatively about organisations and may be triggering for those who have experienced workplace trauma. If you require mental health support these organisations are available to help: Better Help: https://www.betterhelp.com/ Mind: https://www.mind.org.uk/ Sources:Glassdoor: https://www.glassdoor.co.uk/member/home/index.htm Get Premium Content on Patreon Hosted on Acast. Teia and Lauren have worked in the humanitarian, development, and peacebuilding fields for...long enough. Now they’re travelling around in a campervan, on a journey to understand what organisational transformation does, and could, look like. Join them each week as they discuss their non-profit experience and invite guests from across different sectors to pull back the curtain on how organisations function (or not) and understand what can be done on an organisational and individual level to address complex social issues. Are you ready? Are you sure? It might sting. Get Premium Content on Patreon Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
