The voice tells us that we're not good enough, that our ideas are not worthy, and that we'll never be able to achieve our goals and aspirations. Doubt can be particularly damaging because it's often internalized, coming from within our minds and manifesting as negative self-talk and self-doubt.

      Fear is another potent threat to our embers. It can take many forms, from fear of failure to fear of rejection, and can paralyze us into inaction and prevent us from pursuing our passions and aspirations.
