The Dark Corners Where Abusers Fall - Ehab Malek
Introduction
In the hidden parts of society, where light rarely reaches, lie the dark corners where abusers thrive. The Dark Corners: Where Abusers Fall
explores these sinister spaces and tells a gripping story of resilience and revenge.
The Dark Corners mean situations that are nightmares for abusers. Through these chapters, I'll show you how to corner an abuser and teach them a lesson or make them an example for others.
A poignant lesson comes from Abdullah Ibn Amer, a companion of the Prophet Muhammad. As a child, his mother called to him, saying, Come, I will give you something.
The Prophet Muhammad overheard and asked, And what did you intend to give him?
She replied, Dates.
The Prophet gently admonished her, If you had not given him anything, it would have been recorded as a lie against you.
This story highlights the importance of truthfulness and the moral weight of our actions, serving as a reminder of integrity and the subtle ways harm can be inflicted.
I know many of you are enduring this suffering alone, feeling isolated and unheard, with no witnesses and no evidence. Take heart—this book is your ally, here to guide you in disarming your abuser and reclaiming your power, shattering their facade of happiness.
This book emerges from my deeply personal journey and professional experiences spanning 42 years, during which I have encountered and endured various forms of abuse. The narrative begins with my own story of parental abuse, a silent suffering that persisted until the age of 42. Despite managing my father's business successfully and generating significant profits, my dedication was met with relentless exploitation. The economic downturn caused by the COVID-19 pandemic revealed harsh truths about my relationship with my parents. It was then that I realized I was serving individuals whose true nature was hidden behind masks of familial duty and affection. The recession exposed their insatiable greed and willingness to sacrifice my well-being for financial gain.
The facade of familial love crumbled, revealing a stark reality where both my parents exhibited behaviors that defied moral and ethical boundaries. Their actions went beyond mere financial exploitation; they embodied a pervasive abuse that infiltrated every aspect of my life. This personal ordeal is not an isolated experience but a reflection of a broader societal issue where many endure similar forms of abuse silently. Throughout my life, I have witnessed countless instances of abuse, not only within my own family but also in the lives of others around me. These experiences have provided me with a profound understanding of the various dimensions of abuse and the devastating impact it has on victims.
