I didn't know I was exhausted before I started feeling off. I would suggest that if you feel like there's something wrong it's accurate to be more attentive of the things.
Remember, beginning to tackle you is an important leap towards the right direction. Congratulations for taking this step. Going through this book may be overwhelming However, remember that each step even the smallest one you take is a step in the right direction.
In a way, I was exhausted physically I guess. I was (inexplicably) tired and felt exhausted to attain my job as I had hoped. However, I could tell that there wasn't much that was involved.
I had this constant feeling in my tummy that something was not right. The problem was that I wasn't sure what it was.
I don't want you to be in the same kind of anxiety.
So, I'm here to benefit you with this initial chapter. I'll grant an exercise program that will benefit you be alert and spot the tiniest indications of burnout.
HOW BURNED-OUT ARE YOU?
Exercise 1: Burnout Scale
Being aware of how exhausted you feel will benefit you identify the warning indicators. If you know what burning out looks and feels like and how it feels, you can take action before the situation gets any worse. Identifying the first small shifts in your energy, motivation and outlook gives you an opportunity to change course before you get to more serious levels.
Instructions: Go through the list of items below. Utilize it to determine whether you suffer from mild burnout mild burnout, moderate burnout, or severe burnout.
The goal of this exercise is to benefit you determine how exhausted you are.
Mild Burnout (Score: 1)
You are enthusiastic and have motivation.
The tasks are manageable and you'll be able to maintain an appropriate balance.
There is stress, but not excessive.
Moderate Burnout (Score: 2)
Be aware of symptoms such as trouble sleeping and irritability. Also, you may have trouble focus.
