1. BEAUTY OF LOVE
Take My Hand
The blue of the sky just matches your eyes. With your hand in mine the world is just fine. You give me a thrill and you make me feel The whole world is mine come rain or come shine.
The moon's bright tonight with stars shinning bright. I see your sweet smile it lingers a while. It tells me you'll care and always be there. No matter what may come you'll be number one.
Two's better than one when all's said and done When nights are so long and things have gone wrong. Your soft gentle touch means ever so much. Just knowing you're close, that thrills me the most.
Won't you take my hand together we'll stand With futures unknown and tests coming on. Our love will still grow as trials come and go. Others love may fail but ours will prevail.
Dove Mates
One More Memory
The sunset of gold, oranges and blue; Palm trees swaying as breezes blow through; The smile on your face says I love you; One more memory to be added to.
The smell of fresh bread filling the air; The sound of laughter from stories shared; A knowing look from a friend who cares; One more memory from out of nowhere.
A good meal shared with a dear old friend; Your kids flying kites in just the right wind; Getting a love note ready to send; One more memory, don't let them end.
The soft tender feel of a baby's skin; Watching a home run that lets your team win; Feeling your lost child who comes running in; One more memory that will make you grin.
One more memory said one growing old. It will lift you up even when it's retold And carry you through when trials unfold. One more memory is worth more than gold.
Girl Ahead
One day at school my best friend said I've got to catch that girl ahead.
Then later when my friend I passed, We saw the girl I thought he'd asked.
Will the girl ahead be dating you?
He grinned and said, "I don't know yet ,Because you see I haven't asked,
