Introduction

You can’t stop a woman who has the Universe and all her ancestors within her.- Crystal Lady Luna

Amelanated Woman is truly unstoppable. It is my honor and greatest passion to help Black Women rediscover this truth by unveiling hidden wisdom and providing practical tools tailored specifically to them. As a Black Woman who has often struggled to find exactly what I need to thrive, heal, and survive in this modern world, I know how important this is.

This book—Melanin Magic—will guide you to the original power of the Melanin Goddess. This is a reality of encoded DNA that exists within all-powerful Black Women—past, present, and future. I have put together all I know, divinely guided by source energy and my Orishas, to provide you with ancient wisdom through a modern application. No Black Woman is left behind.

A life-changing journey awaits you. Through the process of tapping into your roots and reclaiming the melanin Sacred Feminine power that our ancestors have previously been robbed of, a connection to the various sacred feminine energies and guides will be established deep within you. Magickal divination, well-being, and self-love tools will be presented. Together with inspiration from the Sacred Feminine—the original Creatrix of all existence—we are the co-creators of the lives of our dreams.

Connecting to the timeless power of Melanin Goddess energy and Black Woman magick is something that has brought me tremendous ecstasy, self-worth, and fulfillment throughout my life. I am filled with joy when I think about being able to share this gift with you too, dear melanin queen.

The various Yoruba and ancient African practices I will be presenting in this book are often vilified as occult, destructive knowledge, or dark magic. This is done to cause fear in us so that we do not explore the creative, life-giving powers of blackness that are in fact the basis of manifestation and holistic well-being.

In this book, you will unlock the hidden reality that melanin is the dark matter found in all existence, and in all melanated beings, that is full of magickal potential and power, rather than being something to be feared. Dark is good. In fact, the unseen and untapped realms of your being are the most powerful force of your life, contrary to what you have been told.

Let’s get right into discovering your blissful melanin power, embracing it, and utilizing it for the most healing transformation into self-love.

Chapter 1: The Sacred Feminine

Black Women are the source of life. This is a powerful truth that has been known since the dawn of time and is exactly why many systems have attempted to steal and hide this innate connection to the life force from us. A powerful Black Woman cannot be controlled. A powerful Black Woman can get anything she wants and create the life of her desire however she pleases. This is scary.

Darkness and blackness have always been depicted as scary and bad, be it in the cosmos, in the depths of our subconscious minds, in our souls, in our DNA, in our hair, or in our skin. This is because in all of these dark places lies the original feminine energy and manifestation, divination, and spiritual power—the melanin molecule.

We are born from melanin, and we go back to melanin. This is the source of spiritual information, creation, and unseen wisdom through our pineal gland—also known as the third eye.

When a Black Woman becomes reacquainted with all that is dark within her—her rich melanin body, her voluptuous hair that acts as a spiritual antenna, the depths of her powerful subconscious mind, and the core of her feminine soul—this is a true reclamation of hidden power. This is self-love, self-confidence, and empowerment at their greatest heights.

It is our very divine feminine melanin energy that birthed and built the great original civilization in Africa—the origin of all humankind. It is this sacred energy that was extracted from us against our will to build the rest of the world and keep our ancestors submissive in past times. Our Melanin power as Black Women cannot be subdued, however.

Although our Black mothers and grandmothers were scattered all over the world to give their power away to other beings who would create their own false ideal world separated from nature and cosmic divinity, these ancestral foremothers still managed to secretly spread and pass down the mysteries and powers of Africa to other melanated beings of all kinds. The secrets of our divine ancestry were shared across the globe. Our innate sacred feminine wisdom is still available for each and every one of us to unlock, wherever it is we may find ourselves.

As a sacred melanin Woman, mental, emotional, and spiritual health—as well as unshakable self-worth, self-confidence, and self-love–are your birthright. We will begin the journey of reclaiming this so-called dark divinity using three main keys.

There is no need to fear the Black Divine Feminine sources of your power or consider them shameful and negative, no matter how much these lies have been instilled in you from childhood. You are a grown Black Woman now, the most powerful force in your life.

According to Yoruba Priestess OlaOmi Amoloku (2022), you can reclaim this power and live it out loud with the following three tools that have historically been stolen from Black Women:

●  Appreciate yourself by embodying your full self and putting her first.

●  Protect yourself at all times by releasing the self-sacrifice complex and practicing self-preservation.)

●  Explore the occult and dark spiritualities and divination modalities that belong to your people and have been stolen from you.

All of the above steps are a shift into radical self-love that will initially frighten most Black Women who have been taught that it is bad to be seen as selfish, to look out for yourself before anyone else, and to practice any religion that isn’t standard or rooted in colonial patriarchy.

It is time to strip the self-destructive need to be a good Black Woman. You are a whole Black Woman and this is where your power lies. Femininity does not mean embodying the people-pleasing nice-girl and self-sacrificial ideologies of society. You have more to offer the world when you offer your power to yourself first and foremost.

Try this daily morning routine for the next few weeks:

●  Grab a notebook that will become your self-love journal and the first thing you open immediately after waking up.

●  Take a few deep breaths, and thank yourself for existing. Verbally thank your marvelous melanin body for following the correct rhythms of nature and managing to wake up for another beautiful day.

●  Open up your journal and write a list of thank yous to each part of yourself that functions as it should and keeps you going each and every day. Make sure to thank the most powerful parts of your melanin body that protect you and integrate cosmic information throughout the night, such as your hair (which is actually an extension of your nervous system and the spiritual antennae of your crown chakra).

●  Next, close your journal and say a personal prayer over it that includes thanking your divine feminine melanin ancestors for paving the way for the life you have today.

●  End by asking your Orishas/spirit guides to look after you throughout the
