    Introduction

The following chapters will discuss all the things that you need to know to help you out with playing the piano. We will look at some important parts including the chords, the best exercises for helping your fingers get stronger, and so much more. Playing the piano is a lot of fun, and there are so many benefits, as we will discuss, and this guidebook will help us get started.

We will spend some time in this first book looking at a lot of the basics that we should know about the piano. We can start with why the piano is the instrument you should choose, no matter your age, and some of the benefits of working with the piano compared to some of the other instruments out there. We will also spend a bit of time exploring how to properly care and maintain your instrument. We can look at the best place to put the piano in your home, the benefits of cleaning and maintaining it, and why you should work with a piano technician to help tune the piano on a regular basis.

From there, it is time to get into some of the practical exercises that you need to make the most out of your piano playing. We will start by looking at the best strength exercises for your hands. Many of us are not used to working our hands this way, and doing some scales, along with a few other exercises along the way, can prepare them for some of the harder songs you will need to play later. We can also spend time looking at how to sit with the right posture on the piano, helping you to avoid pain and making it easier to play some of the songs that you would like.

With a few of these semantics down, we need to look at some of the most important parts that will help us start playing music on the piano. These include the piano chords and the piano scales. There are a lot of these in any instruments that we can spend our time on, and we will explore a few of the best ones that will help you play your favorite songs. We will start with some of the best piano chords to help us start, and then we can put a few of those together to help us create a few scales along the way as well.

There are a lot of things to learn when it is time to get started with practicing piano and getting some of the beautiful songs played that you would like. And this guidebook, the first of three in our series, will help to introduce you to the best ways to get started, and the right chords and scales that you can use to help you play songs later with our other books
