      1956 - Dartmouth Workshop:

      ●  The term artificial intelligence was coined at the Dartmouth Workshop in 1956. This workshop, organized by John McCarthy, Marvin Minsky, Nathaniel Rochester, and Claude Shannon, marked the official birth of AI as a field.

      1960s - Early AI Programs:

      ●  The 1960s saw the development of the first AI programs, including the General Problem Solver (GPS) by Allen Newell and Herbert A. Simon and the Dendral system for chemical analysis.
