About this ebook

My Early Expressions is a collection of poem, lyrics, and song by Keith Adams. There are some compositions that are included in this collection that were co-authored with Raji Abuzalaf. Raji and Keith met in 1969 and together generated a large collection of poems and songs well into the 1980's.

They renewed their creative partnership back in 2021 to co-author their next generation of original compositions. Their new published works are under the name Fifty Years On Project. The title commemorates their artistic affiliation of more than fifty years with more to come.

My Early Expressions - Keith Adams

A Dead Soldier’s Point Of View

Kingdoms will rise and kingdoms will fall

Where are the leaders to answer this call?

The lust for power being driven by greed

Truth unfolds, the people must be freed

What do generals and politicians know?

The soldiers die and their blood flows

The men and women give their lives

Lost sons and daughters, husbands and wives

There are no dying patriots who ever love war

They always ask what their death was for

Thousands of God’s children that now lay dead

Dying children searching for water asking for bread

No Politician’s words can justify their strife

This death and destruction that just steals life

Rulers have known that war is a forsaken thing

What will their sacrifice, their death bring?

When will there be peace, when will we be free?

I will accept you, but can you accept me?

We must join together, walk hand and hand

May our children live in peace in every land

    And Leads To Nowhere

Several times in different days, the sun comes with rain

    And leads to nowhere

A young child learns, a preacher prays of love and pain

    Which leads to nowhere

Lonely minds and separate ways, the heart feels a strain

    And leads to nowhere

An old man turns, a young man strays to strive in vain

    It leads to nowhere

The world with all its might is on a path to
