Active listening goes beyond merely hearing what others say; it involves fully engaging with the speaker, understanding their message, and responding thoughtfully.
By mastering active listening skills, you can enhance your communication, build stronger relationships, and contribute more effectively to meetings.
Give Undivided Attention
During meetings, make a conscious effort to focus solely on the speaker. Put away distractions such as smartphones or laptops and maintain eye contact. Giving undivided attention shows respect and indicates that you value what the speaker has to say.
Show Empathy and Understanding
