About this ebook
Divorce. Just the word "divorce" can cause your stomach to clench, sweat to drop from your brow, and an increased heart rate. Divorce takes everything that was good and lovely in marriage and utterly crushes it.
This book was been written out of what my eyes have seen, my ears have heard, and six years of observation, and subsequently research, into the world of divorce, and what a woman that has been scorned will do, and the lengths she will go to hurt the man she once loved pay for hurting her. and how she will use the power of the law and the police to get what she wants.
While the book touches on the ugliness of divorce between the woman and the man, it also touches on custody and co-parenting from someone who has been there and experienced divorce first hand. it offers guidance, it offers a fresh perspective, and it offers hope.

Dedication
I dedicate this book to all the women and men who fight to protect their children first and foremost. Never letting anything get in the way of their children’s happiness. Who put their emotions aside to nurture their children through the trying and sometimes difficult moments of divorce.
Children are our future, they are a gift from God to us, so let’s treat them like the treasures they are and shelter them from sadness as long as we can.
After all, as one little boy said to his mom and dad, "My safety is your job."

INTRODUCTION
The Ugliness of the Word Divorce, And What It Does to Families
Divorce. Just the word divorce
can cause your stomach to clench, sweat to drop from your brow, and an increased heart rate. Divorce takes everything that was good and lovely in a marriage and utterly crushes it.
On your wedding day, you probably thought of nothing except the deep love you had for one another. In those early days after your marriage, you probably dreamt and made plans together. You may have listed places you wanted to go, ways you wanted to grow, and baby names for your future children. With stars in your eyes and love in your heart, you stepped into the world as a newly married couple.
Even during arguments in those early days, you knew you would always love each other. You knew you would always find a way to work things out.
Yet as the years passed, little arguments turned into larger fights. Spats that once resolved within hours now fester for days, weeks, and even months. Angry words and thoughtless actions begin to add up.
And one day you cannot even remember what it is that made you fall in love with that person in the first place.
Divorce. What was once so unimaginable is now on the tip of your tongue and at the forefront of your mind. You cannot imagine how a person who once vowed to love you can now hate you so viscerally. Even when you look back at wedding photos, you cannot imagine how the people in that picture got to the point where you are now.
No one goes into a marriage with divorce on their minds. Even when wrongs are done and life gets hard, divorce is not our first inclination. After all, we do not want to speak the word divorce
for fear that saying it will bring into existence a monster too big for our control.
If you have children, divorce takes on a darker and more sinister form. Not only will you divide up your possessions, but you will be forced to navigate dividing the time and devotion of your children. A child you have held and loved since birth will now spend half (or more) of their time away from you.
Divorce. You do not want to think about it. But if you are in the midst of it, you have to stop and taste and feel the word in your mind and in your mouth. Divorce. When you tell your children that you and your spouse are separating, what was once a scary word becomes a frightening reality. Divorce.
As you navigate the tricky waters of divorce, it is important to take steps to protect and prioritize your children. You may be divorcing your spouse, but your children are not divorcing from their parents.
