Positive thinking is an attitude that admits into the brain thoughts, words, and images that lead to development, expansion, and success.
It is an attitude that expects great and favorable results. A positive mind expects happiness, joy, health, and a successful outcome from every situation and action. Everything the brain anticipates, it finds.
Not everyone accepts or believes in positive thinking. Some consider the issue simply nonsense, and others scoff at the people who believe and accept it. Among the people who accept it, not many know how to use it effectively to get results. However, it seems that many are becoming interested in this subject, as evidenced by the many books, conferences, and courses on the subject. This is a topic that is gaining popularity.
It's quite common to hear people say, Think positive!
directed towards someone who is feeling depressed and worried. Most of people do not take these words seriously, since they do not know what they really mean, or do not consider them useful and effective. How many people do you know who stop to think about what the power of positive thinking means?

The power of thoughts
Think about certain events throughout your life and try to remember what mix of thoughts you often had, before a specific event occurred. Try to discover the affiliation between your thoughts and the events.

Our thoughts govern our behavior, our attitude, and consequently, our actions, our spirit, and the treatment of the people around us. As our thoughts are, so is our life. This means that it is of great importance to be careful with our reflections, especially with ideas that we repeat to ourselves frequently.
Ideas are like video files that we play on our brain's computer. What we judge is what we see with our inner eyes. What we visualize in our brains is what we think. The thoughts that we repeatedly process shape our lives. So, in order to make modifications to our existence, we must make modifications to our thought processes. It is essential to change our ideologies. It's like removing an outdated file and bringing a new one that we like better and is more realistic.
The new mental file will sooner or later change our behavior, actions, and attitude, and will attract people, situations, and events into our lives that match our renewed thoughts. A solitary thought is not strong enough to cause change, but if it is repeated often, it eventually gains strength.
An idea that is strongly adhered to is a foothold in the subconscious and, from there, it affects our lives and even our environment. The best thing about this process is that we don't need to try too hard to make it happen. All we have to do is choose a thought that we would like to come true and start repeating it.
Suppose you are shy in the company of others and you would like to change this situation. He tries again and again, copying the positions of others, feels uncomfortable being inauthentic, and ends up acting artificial, and even generates unpleasant external comments, which embarrasses him and culminate in further reclusiveness.
It is better to visualize that you feel safe and communicate fluently with others. This is equivalent to daydreaming and is a simple and enjoyable natural process. This is a mental activity, which is quite easy and requires no effort. It is a kind of practical daydreaming, a method of using the power of thoughts creatively and intentionally.
It is very similar to daydreaming, however, with a few small variations. Visualize yourself conversing fluently, easily, and confidently. Think about how the words come out of your mouth, how you love to verbalize, and how everyone pays close attention to every word you say.
You are able to fabricate in your head a perfect aspect of everything you would like to achieve. Put a great deal of detail, color, sound, fragrance, and vivacity into those mental images. If you repeat it often with confidence and attention, the subconscious mind will accept them as real experiences, and in the most natural way will make the necessary adjustments so that your reality conforms to your internal visualizations.
You can master habits and build new ones, develop new abilities and powers, and even alter your conditions and achieve anything you really want. The power of thoughts can help you develop a new line of work, change your relationships, generate additional income, or improve your life.
All this does not happen overnight. It takes time and depends on how seriously you try, and how much time and concentration you put into your new way of thinking. This is purely mental, but it does not mean that you remain passive waiting for things to happen. You must keep an open mind and be willing to take the necessary steps.
Decide what you want to acquire or achieve and start thinking about it frequently throughout the day or at various specific times throughout the day.
These recurring thoughts will eventually become stronger and will generate internal and external modifications. The capacity for ideas is a real power. Surely you have applied it on numerous occasions without realizing it. Once you know how it works and how to consciously apply it, you gain the ability to transform, improve, and rule your life. You may feel inspired, delighted, and joyous; or with a broken heart, anguished and bitter. It may seem unusual, but thoughts of success can evoke negative feelings. People who have thought about negative ideas and feelings for most of their lives expect failure and do not feel noble about success. If they have gone through shortcomings and difficulties, they think that success is not for them. In these cases, everything related to success can provoke negative feelings.

The way we perceive
Your thoughts and beliefs can attract or repel success. They regulate their feelings and perspectives on victory or defeat. Ideas too often come and go and change focus like the wind. They shape their head in the same way that the wind moves the direction of a flag.
One moment the flag might be batting in this direction and moments later another way. One moment you may be thinking this way, and the next another way. Once your thoughts, feelings, and temperaments are stable and under your control, your life will also be under your control; and it will not allow itself to be permeable to external influences or passing temperaments.
