      For astronauts in space stations orbiting the Earth, it is evident that day and night are not like those of us who live on it.

      However, to give an example, the International Space Station is constantly in motion rotating on Earth, which means that every day, the astronauts who inhabit it contemplate 15 sunrises and sunsets every 24 hours.

      The most expensive object in the world

      Again we must mention the famous International Space Station. Today it is the most expensive object ever created by man. Its value amounts to 15,000,000,000 US dollars.

      As an added curiosity, much of the money it cost was used to put it into orbit rather than its construction itself, since it is the size of a football field and weighs about 500 tons.

      As many of you know, stars die and not just Hollywood ones. In the case of our star, it is estimated that it has about 5,000,000,000 years left until it becomes a Red Giant.

      Many people love outer space trivia that compares cosmological elements to things from everyday life. It is estimated that if each star in the Milky Way (the galaxy we are in) were a grain of salt, together they could fill an Olympic swimming pool.

      If we put a team of astronauts on board a ship, it is estimated that it would take about 700,000 years to reach the nearest star (not counting the Sun, of course).

      Around the earth there is a large amount of objects and human garbage that has been suspended in space. Most of these remains are the size of a tennis ball and it is estimated that they total about 10,000 different objects.

      The density of Saturn

      It is curious to think that Saturn is a gas planet. In fact, if we could have an ocean big enough to fit this big planet, Saturn would float. This is because Saturn is less dense than water.

      Despite the fact that curiosity makes us want to have the opportunity to travel to space, the truth is that it is a very risky activity, and not only because of the conditions in which we live or because of space travel.
