About this ebook

As the title suggests: “How I Beat My Stage 4 Cancer & Paralysis in 6 Months’ Time the Natural Way,” this book is about how I battled my stage 4 cancer of the prostate, my metastatic cancer in the spine, and my paraplegia or paralysis of the lower limbs victoriously—at the fastest time at almost no cost at all.
My paralysis was caused by a tumor in my spine, which in turn was caused by my stage 4 cancer of the prostate.
Right after the removal of the tumor in my spine through surgery, I embarked on the natural way of healing it. In 6 months’ time, I was able to walk again and totally beat the cancer.
The book will detail to you everything you want to know on why cancer started in the first place and how to lick it—with no use of any drug, supplement or anything medical. Neither does it use any herbal medicine which I don’t believe any of it at all.
The treatment I used to cure my cancer and paralysis is so unique that I believe I am the only in the whole world who is using it.
Happy reading!

    PREFACE

    Peace be with You!

    I want to open this book with a poem I’ve written.

    HEALTH IS LIFE

    THERE ARE MILLIONS OF BLESSINGS IN THE WORLD;

    oh, so visible and shining like gold.

    Among them, I picked one that’s the greatest;

    it is none other than health at its best.

    SUPPOSE A BILLIONAIRE MADE AN OFFER,

    a million bucks in exchange for cancer.

    What do you think, Will you take the offer?

    Just say yes and the money is right there.

    HEALTH IS WEALTH!  IT’S THE DEAREST GOD HAD MADE,

    not for a billion bucks shall it we trade.

    It transcends all the fortunes here on earth;

    take care of it while health brings mirth, not death!

    YOU MAY BE THE RICHEST MAN IN THE WORLD

    but, if sick, a plain smile you can’t afford.

    Yet, you may be the poorest in the world

    but, if healthy, smile comes easy like word.

    THERE’S A POLITICIAN WITH STOLEN WEALTH;

    billions were in banks, all secretly kept.

    But due to a disease, no one knew what,

    he’s comatose, would remain long like that.

    CROOKS ARE JAILED TO STRIP THEM OF LIBERTY,

    this pol was locked up in his own body.

    In my pocket, I saw just a penny;

    yet happier ‘cause I’m healthy and free.

    HENCE, BE GLAD WHEN BLESSED WITH LIFE THAT’S NORMAL,

    complete with body parts of a mortal.

    The greatest of which are the five senses;

    sans touch, hearing, sight, smell and taste, life’s useless.

    THESE FIVE SENSES FORM HALF OF HAPPINESS;

    other half in objects of the senses,

    like you are happy you have eyes to see;

    seeing pleasant things makes double the glee.

    HENCE, IF YOU DON’T LIKE WHAT’S THERE AROUND YOU,

    be glad still for having eyes that can view.

    What good’s there where all about you is fine

    but can’t appreciate them ‘cause you’re blind.

    WOULD YOU RATHER LOSE YOUR LEGS THAN YOUR CARS?

    Lose both your arms than your million dollars?

    Lose your left or right eye than your mansion?

    Lose your sanity than your profession?

    OH, HOW WE CURSE A LIFE IN DREADFUL WANT,

    having none of those things grand and pleasant,

    not knowing there in our body and mind

    lies truest treasures of unequalled kind.

    THERE ARE NO EXCUSES FOR BEGGARY:

    "We’ve got legs to escape all misery,

    we’ve got hands to carve out our destiny,

    we’ve got brains to solve all difficulty."

    OR IF WE’RE TO PUT IT ANOTHER WAY:

    Are we poor because we’re homeless?—No way!

    Till we have and can move legs, hands, and brain,

    we’re left with no excuses to complain!

    THINKING OF HOW TO EVER STAY HEALTHY?

    Nature says exercise regularly,

    sleep seven to eight hours every day,

    and take a short walk outside when sun’s gay.

    WHEN TALKING OF FOOD, NATURE IS THE LORD,

    she’s the best nutritionist in the world.

    Therefore, if we want to prolong our life,

    turn to none else but nature—she’s the life!

    NATURE HAS ALL ANSWERS TO OUR QUESTIONS,

    and all are factual-based, not emotions.

    She’s not some experts who’d say, Coffee’s bad,

    but then after a time, Coffee is rad.

    LET’S GO BACK TO THE BAREST OF NATURE,

    mainly if your food’s fitness you’re not sure.

    If you ask nature what food’s right to eat,

    she’ll gladly give you this following list:

    EAT MORE OF CLEAN FISH, FRUITS, AND VEGETABLES;

    stop those high in fats and cholesterols.

    Neither just always this nor always that,

    have a good balance of this and whatnot.

    IF A CANNED FOOD RUNS AN ADVERTISEMENT:

    This bitter melon—rich in nutriments,

    logic states why not get one straight from land,

    and not one plant-processed and put in can.

    OUR BODY IS SIXTY PERCENT WATER;

    no single day its supply be meager.

    Down a glass or two after you’ve tucked in,

    dilute any toxin that got mixed in.

    SOFT DRINKS, BOTTLED JUICES—HIGH IN SUGAR;

    worse, not sugar cane but Magic Sugar.

    Oh, to your spirit they truly bring cheers;

    they add life to your zest—not to your years.

    IS CIGARETTE A GREAT FOOD FOR THE LUNG?

    Yes—if you want to kick the bucket young!

    Are preservatives—food for the colon?

    Wait for the Big C to meet you head-on.

    MILD INTAKE OF LIQUOR GOOD FOR LIVER?

    Or not even a drop is much better.

    What I know, a thing said to be poison,

    even a small part is yet a demon.

    I’VE SECOND THOUGHT IF, INDEED, HEALTH IS WEALTH

    that when you lose your health, you’ve lost a wealth.

    Or, is it more apt to say, Health is Life

    that when you lose your health, you’ve lost your life.

    LOSE YOUR RICHES, YOU’RE STILL LEFT WITH YOUR BREATH;

    through hard work, you may yet get back the wealth!

    Lose your health and you’re left with none but—death;

    don’t look back, you may only find regret!

    ALL SAID, LETS NOT TAKE FOR GRANTED OUR HEALTH,

    next to soul, therein lies our very breath.

    Swap it not for wrong food, booze, drugs, and puffs,

    we’ll be sorry for it when cancer knocks!

    Chapter 1

    THE BACKGROUND

    My name is Rodolfo Martin Vitangcol—a Filipino, born September 5, 1951, and happily married.

    I spent my 4-year high school in the seminary and finished my college with a degree in Bachelor of Commerce, major in Accounting.

    I have two children. The older one Ana [35] is by my deceased wife who died from nasopharyngeal cancer at age 40; the younger one Maria [11] is by my present wife who is 35 years my junior; I met her when I was already 54 and she’s yet 19.

    My mother became widowed when we’re still little.  My father died in the line of duty as a policeman.

    We are five children in the family; I’m the middle one.  The eldest died of multiple sclerosis at age 68; and the one next to me succumbed to colon cancer at age 64.  My mother died of diabetes at age 85.

    I sustain my family through my training business.  I conduct seminars to various companies in the Philippines. I’ve been in this line of business for 35 years now—specializing in leadership, salesmanship, customer service, and work attitude programs.  I have written a book on work attitude.

    As to lifestyle, I don’t smoke and I don’t drink.

    To keep trim, I’ve been doing stationary jogging at home for 45 minutes non-stop, three to four times a week. Going into 30 minutes, I would sweat profusely.  I love sweating: "More sweat, more health." I see sweats as toxins. For me, any physical exercise without sweating is an exercise bereft of any health benefit; it is but just like any walking done around the house to get something.

    I strictly follow the 8-glasses-a-day rule and even exceed it every day.  Fearing that diabetes runs in the family, I avoid taking sugary drinks, especially soft drinks and bottled juices. I switched to red rice after learning that white rice can increase the risk of diabetes.

    All in all, I’m very conscious of my health, so much so that if I started to feel any strange pain in any part of my body, I easily panic and promptly plunge myself into some physical exercises in hopes of making the pain eventually go away.

    However, among all these attempts at good health, there is one exception, though: "I love eating."

    My number one love in the world is eating. I love eating so much that if I get rich, my dream is to go to countries, like Vietnam and Thailand, not really to see the beautiful people and places out there, more than to feast on all the good food they’re known for.

    When the food served at the table is my favorite, I just can’t control myself eating till I’m overly full. My favorites are beef steak, barbeque, noodles [including the instant ones], lechon, canned corned beef, all vinegar-based dishes, cream cheese, hotdogs, and bread with butter.  I also particularly love Vienna sausages that even its preservative liquid in the can I drink.

    As a result, where the ideal weight for a height of 5’10" is 161 pounds, my hearty appetite caused my regular weight of 170 pounds to balloon to 210 pounds in just less than five years.

    Unfortunately, all this I would regret later on.

    Chapter 2

    THE SHOCK

    It all started two Christmas Eves ago [December 24, 2020].

    Christmas Eve is a special day for the whole family to reunite and have Noche Buena together.  Among the several scrumptious food served, I particularly binged on the Chinese ham and the Queso de Bola. My brother-in-law asked me to also
