About this ebook
We live in a technologically advanced society where technology is steadily replacing physical work in a variety of fields. Old techniques have become obsolete due to the development and deployment of new technologies. In this circumstance, the ability to unlearn, learn, and relearn is more important than simply gaining new knowledge. Learnability has emerged as an important determinant of employability. As a result, to remain relevant in an ever-changing employment market, both new job applicants and incumbent job holders must engage in career-lifelong learning.
Furthermore, there has been increased competition among job applicants for suitable positions, as well as among current employees for better positions within companies. To achieve their intended goals, they must be competitive with appropriate and up-to-date knowledge and abilities in their areas of the profession.
With these considerations in mind, and based on my professional experience as an HR and communication consultant, trainer, and practitioner, together with interactions with job seekers and job holders, as well as references from research studies and the like, this ebook is intended to help both new job applicants and job holders. Many important aspects have been covered, ranging from resume preparation to the stage of becoming a team leader. Writing job cover letters, interview preparation, effective communication skills - interpersonal communication, transferable skills, the importance of timeliness, adaptability, and other aspects are discussed in the document to help both job applicants and job holders stand out and advance in their careers.
It is firmly believed that readers of this ebook will make the best use of the contents by adapting them wherever necessary in their professions and achieving their career objectives as efficiently as possible.

CHAPTER 1
10 steps to construct your resume to attract the attention of employers.
Introduction:
When applying for a job, we should general y notify the employer or recruiter who we are, what qualifications and talents we have, which areas we fit into, and so on by sending a written document in either electronic or paper form. This document is sometimes referred to as a resume or curriculum vitae (CV), or bio-data.
The problem is that many of you, particularly fresh job seekers, submit a one-page CV with 7 - 8 points when applying for a job. Having been involved in recruitment procedures for many years during my long career, I have seen a wide range of CVs from job seekers. It is worth noting that many applicants have a habit of sending the same CV to al types of jobs they apply for without taking into account the job criteria for each 3

Definition of Resume, CV, and Bio-Data: A resume is more of an overview of a candidate's career, with only relevant and current certificates included.
A CV is more extensive than a resume and might be
