    Take a Swing on the Uneven Bars

    Imagine springing up to the lower uneven bar and holding it for a beat. You release and let your momentum swing you into the next move. You fly fluidly between the lower and upper bar with airborne tricks. One final flip, and you stick your landing.

    Routines on the uneven bar apparatus are thrilling to watch. They show a gymnast’s strength, endurance, and flair. Each routine features moves that flow from one to the next. The entire performance lasts only about 45 seconds. But it takes months and even years of hard practice to polish every detail.
