The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens on the Go - Sean Covey
Welcome to
The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens on the Go
In this compact book you are holding, I’m inviting you to become a more mindful and effective individual. Each section contains wisdom to help you to become a better version of you, improve your relationships (including the one you have with yourself), and ways to effect more positive change in your life.
You’re probably thinking, Yeah, right, Sean. I have so much going on right now I don’t have time to take on ONE more thing. But that’s the very reason we created this book. It’s on the go, quick, and effective. Just take a few minutes once a week to read a section, reflect on it, and accept the challenge presented to you. You can do this while you’re waiting for your friends to pick you up, while you’re waiting in line somewhere, or waiting for your computer or phone to update (again).
Now hear me out. If you promise to do the weekly challenges, I’ll promise to make it fun. The information on each card is all taken from my internationally bestselling book, The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens. Maybe you read the book in school, maybe your parents required you to read it before you could learn to drive, or maybe you’ve never read the book at all—either way, the same message is presented in a fresh and easily manageable way. I break down each of the 7 Habits simply and offer methods to apply the lessons into your daily routine and thought patterns.
If you’re the kind of person who prefers to skip around, that’s just fine. Do it your way, but stick with it—you’ll be glad you did. Never forget that out of small changes, big things are achieved.
If you do this, and work hard to move out of your comfort zone and shift your belief systems, then I promise that you’ll improve and repair your relationships, and you’ll become a more effective young adult. And effectiveness leads to success in life—I know, that’s a big promise.
I wish you all the best on your journey,
Sean Covey
