Acknowledgments
First of all, I thank God for giving me the strength to write this book. He has been with me through it all, and no one has done for me what He has done. For it is written in His Word, I will never leave thee nor forsake thee
(Hebrews 13:5, KJV).
I would like to thank my husband, Asa Jones, who is my greatest supporter. Honey, I love you and thank God for you. It is written in God’s Word that whosoever findeth a wife findeth a good thing, and obtaineth favor of the LORD
(Proverbs 18:22, KJV). But I have a good thing, the best husband in the world. Thank you, baby, for being good to me and for me. Thank you for pushing me to finish this book. I love you. I also want to praise God for my mother, Dorothy Bridges. Had she not birthed and nurtured me, I would not have written this book. Thanks, Mom, for teaching me my first prayer and praying me out of my worldly life. You did a good job with me. Thanks for being my mother and my nurturer. Thanks for putting up with me and for loving me. I love you. Thank God for my pastor, Jimmie L. Edwards, who is the overseer at Rosemont Church, located at 3930 Officer Thomas Catching Sr. Dr, Jackson, MS. You are a father figure, a counselor, and a shepherd over my soul. You are much appreciated. The teaching you have done has made a great impact on my life. Thank you for preaching the Word in season and out of season; I love you.
To my first lady, Ida Edwards, thank you for challenging me in prayers. I love you.
To my four sons, thank God for you who were once boys, but now you are men. May God truly bless each of you with spiritual wisdom, knowledge, and understanding in all things.
To Jacinda, thank you for taking out time to help me with this book. May God bless you and your precious son. I love you.
To Shardee, thank you for using your computer skills and helping me load my photos. May God fill you and direct you in the way He would have you go. I love you. To Patrica, Kenya, and LaShunda, thanks for being in my life. I love y’all. To all my grandchildren, thanks for praying for me. La’Terriuna, thanks for praying for me to complete this book. I love you.
To Monsherrie, thanks for your tireless help. Even when you were tired, had homework, were tending to your babies, just getting off work, or cooking dinner for your family, you still saw a need to pause from all that, just to help me complete this book. You are a priceless jewel, and I am very proud to have you as my daughter. Thank you for your encouragement and support. Continue to glorify God in all you do. I love you. Also, I want to thank your handsome husband, Silas, for tending to the babies while you helped me. I love you all. To Jaliyah, thanks for typing for me. I love you.
To Vernetra Gavin, a dear friend of mine, I thank God for your prayers, encouragement, counseling, and first invite to L.I.T.erary Aspiring Authors and Writer’s Workshop 2019. I love you.
To Diane Minor, a close friend, thanks for praying for me non-stop and believing with me that this too shall pass. May God forever bless you. I love you.
To April, thank you for the testimony, and God bless you, sweetie. May He truly answer all your prayers.
To Jeremy, what can I say? Thank you for your patience and support. Thank you for being there whenever I called and for helping me complete this project. To Jessica, thank you for letting him help me. To my nieces, nephews, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, I love you all.
To my sisters, Joyce, Charisshawn, and Shantel, thanks for your prayers. God bless each of you. I love y’all.
Lastly, I thank God for the man I never knew or even had a chance to see. Whoever you are, wherever you are, thanks. I would not be here without you, and for whatever it’s worth, I love you, Dad.
Introduction
I wrote this book to let people know that God is real and that there is nothing too big or too small for Him to handle, fix, cure, heal or bring you through. No matter what, God can do it.
This book is based on people’s lives who went through different things and depended on God to bring them through; it is also based on God’s saving grace.
I was inspired to write this book of testimonies when I started writing my first book. At the time, I felt in my heart what I thought to be God telling me to stop writing my first book and get this one out, for whatever reason. It’s His reason, to God be the glory. Trust in God, whether in finance, sex, personal, spiritual, or even direction. The only way God can’t help you is if you don’t allow Him. What you are about to read are testimonies from different people through dreams, visions, and experiences with God. My prayer is that you would be blessed through reading this book. If for some reason you don’t know God, I pray that reading this book will make you want to know Him; there is a plan of salvation in the back of the book. I have had many experiences with God, some of which I would not write down, but nevertheless, I hope you enjoy the ones that I do write.
