Dear Lord
Daughters of Grace
With the simplicity born from the heart of this child
and my eyes full of longing from a life once too wild,
His love falls from Heaven upon this place
filling me up as His daughter of grace.
In each morning given His mercies are new
and I know in my heart it is forever true,
that in every struggle of this human race
I am redeemed to be His daughter of grace.
When to the Father our troubles we bring,
we can shelter in the shadow of His wings,
in renewing prayers, as we seek His face
we become stronger as His daughters of grace.
Our lives are kept safely within His hands
and with heartfelt praise for His wondrous plan,
for with each direction and in every place
we are blessed with being His daughters of grace.
