The 1st house that the soul journeys through is Aries, the ram. This house speaks of one’s sense of self and how one identifies with themselves in this lifetime. Since rebirthing the soul is an ever-evolving process, we visit the dimension of Aries many times. We always return to this place to realise that we are not just one identity, but rather, we are shaped by multidimensionality within a limitless universe.

This is a place that is symbolic for all newness that enters one’s life. Aries reflects that there are forever new beginnings nevertheless waiting for us. Aries is a place of joy, richness, rejuvenation, liveliness, introductions, and inventiveness. Aries is what births heart-based leaders and entrepreneurs into the world. It is the beginning of all manifestation and it is where we can always return to reshape our soul’s identity.

We must sculpt our identities with love and authenticity if we are to stand in the light – the positive elements of the house of Aries. When we travel through the opening house, we must remember the power of cyclic nature and the power of transformation. It is here that we develop all parts of the soul, creating the foundational pillars for our career, relationships, lifestyle, and everything else that happens in life.

The truth is born here in the 1st house. We must rise to become the leader of the things we believe are most important in the world. Not only do we develop the identity of our soul, but we also take everything we have learned here and carry it through the entire cycle of astrological houses.

It is Aries that awakens us to our soul’s mission and how we must show up in the world. It is Aries that starts the first part of our journey and story, leading the way with our soul’s identity throughout the remaining astrological signs. It is Aries that reminds us of our genuine individuality and how we are all living subjective lives.

If anything, this is the most significant sign within the cycle because everything will always come back to who we are and the mission of the soul. Everything will always return to the house of Aries, asking us to apply all matters we have learned throughout life to the evolution of the soul. When you return to Aries after completing the full circuit, this is a beautiful reminder that it is not the end, but rather, it is the beginning of a new adventure in reshaping your mind, body and soul – reconstructing your entire life.

So much rebirthing happens within the house of Aries, for this is the place where we will always return to ourselves, redesigning who we are, what we believe matters most in life and how we can transmute all pain and suffering into the brightest of light.

This place of rebirth is a gift of newness and delightful experience, just like when parents meet their new-born for the first time. We must honour the house of Aries – the symbolism of the ram – because, without the ram’s energy, we would not be able to journey through the cyclic process of transformation and the ever-evolving process of rebirth. We would not be able to remember our divinity and the notion of being limitless, eternal souls.

While Aries lights up areas of the ability to be dynamic, brave, bold, vibrant, and lead the way, it also significantly represents the shadow elements that can be aggressive, controlling, combative and co-dependent. We must transcend these shadows into light, moving from a state of fear to love. We must surpass and elevate higher if we are to be the best version of our own identities, releasing all that no longer serves ourselves, others, and the planet.

Being aggressive does not serve anyone. Being controlling, combative, and co-dependent does not help anyone either. These shadow elements can sometimes make souls feel stuck and stagnant in life, which is often due to holding onto the past because of fear of ‘endings’. But we must let go of this idea because without endings there are no new beginnings.

If someone is living in these shadow states of being, it is because they are most likely carrying limiting belief systems shaped around fear and separation. These shadow elements must be transformed to reflect the very opposite. The truth is that we are light beings, connected in oneness and unity, and we must lead the way in all areas of life with such integrity.

When your soul is ready to embody the light of Aries, you must look at all areas in your life that are asking you to be dynamic, brave, bold, vibrant, and lead the way regarding what truly aligns with your soul’s mission. You must surrender to shining the light on the most empowered parts of your identity and carry this through into your work, relationships, and lifestyle.

Everything begins with our identity – here is the place where we must get to the bottom of truly knowing the self and what we would like to create in this lifetime. Everything starts with the self and we must recognise that before we can move forward into the 2nd house of Taurus.
