About this ebook
Today, many young ministers feel the need to minister to thousands of individuals to be successful. In truth, most of the churches within the United States have congregations of 125 parishioners or less. In the Church of God in Christ, ninety percent of congregations are less than one hundred members. In Drawing from the Well, author Bishop Nathaniel Wells offers a self-help guide on building a strong church and mega ministry, without mass numbers and in small communities.
Through scriptural examples and personal experiences, Wells discusses the key elements—for which Jesus has provided the insight and instructions—for creating a strong church foundation. He includes the importance of relying on the word of God, empowering parishioners, and keeping the personal and spiritual connection to people.
Bishop Nathaniel W. Wells Jr
Nathaniel Wells has seen success as an insurance consultant and agency manager, reaching the million-dollar roundtable during his fifty-eight-year career. In 1976, he was appointed to the pastorate of Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ, Muskegon, Michigan, where he is senior pastor. Wells was appointed jurisdictional bishop of the Western Michigan Jurisdiction in 1985 and was elected by his church to the presidium of the Churches of God in Christ in 2000.

Preface
T his book is written in the hope that it can be a self-help on how to build a strong church and megaministry. Today, many of our young ministers feel the need to minister to thousands of individuals to be successful. In truth, most of the churches within the United States have congregations of 125 parishioners or less. In the Church of God in Christ, 90 percent of our congregations are less than one hundred members.
It is stated in the book of James,
If a brother or sister be naked and destitute of daily food, and one of you say unto them, depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?" It is important that we meet the natural needs of mankind; and continue to feed the souls of men as well! (James 2:15)
It is my hope that, after reading this book, you will realize that one can build a megaministry and have a strong church worship experience without mass numbers and even in small communities. Jesus has given us the insight and instructions. If
