Watch and Pray: Volume 2
()
About this ebook
The rest of this book discusses spiritual weapons and strategies at the believers’ disposal. They include spiritual connectedness with the Lord, fasted lifestyles, praise and worship, prayer, and God’s love. The kingdom of darkness is getting bolder as we approach end-times, so Christians must get bolder by drawing near to God in order to resist the enemy. The flight to heaven does not come cheap but requires vigilance and sobriety in prayers and watchfulness. Responsible evangelism does not end at leading the lost to Christ but goes further to warn those saved to take heed against false doctrines and teachings. Many false teachers and preachers are increasingly using prosperity and health messages along to trick and trap millions to hell. It is my hope that everyone who reads this book will be saved and come to know the Lord well. Anyone who reads this book will find his/her own life stories in it. May God use this book to draw all of us to himself and teach us how to discern the right from error. Pray to him and pray for all lives.

First and foremost, I would like to thank God. I am thankful for every day, and the gift of writing. Writing is about the joy of creating and broadcasting the Word of God to all the corners of the world. In the process of putting this book together, I realized how true this gift of writing is for me. Father, you have given me the power to believe in my passion and pursue my dream of writing like the apostle Paul. I could never have done this without the faith I have in you, the Almighty God. My sincere gratitude goes to my Lord and personal Savior, Jesus Christ, who has twice saved me from death in 1995 and 2010, respectively. I am sold out to you forever. Words are weak to describe your protection, counsel, teaching, instructions, and direction for my life and my second book. I love you more than I will ever be able to express. I love you to death.
My second and deepest appreciation goes to one of my daughters, who suddenly got a mental illness that lasted over a decade. She ended down in Ghana, where she continues to suffer untold hardships from family members and strangers who take care of her in the most trying times of her life. During her ordeal, I met all kinds of false prophets and pastors who cleverly took thousands of dollars from me without being able to heal her. Nearly 99 percent of those who claim to know our Lord God are false. Don’t be fooled by their cooked-out miracles and signs. Watch unto prayer.
I draw strength from her illness to write and dive into spiritual warfare and understanding. Aside from the Lord Jesus, your illness kept the Holy Ghost’s fire in me so I could complete my second spiritual book. My third book, entitled Run with Your Own Salvation: Don’t Drop It,
is coming in eight months.
For the rod of the wicked shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity. (Psalm 125:3)
Executive Summary
A little over two years since volume 1 of Watch and Pray was published, the world has been increasingly spinning out of control. Lord, help us watch unto prayer more than ever, because deception is deepening, the wicked continues to do wickedly, false prophets and teachers continue to spread false prophecies and lies, and truth is taken as lies, while lies have become truth. Lies become the truth if Christians allow them. Things are continually falling apart.
This new volume of Watch and Pray contains the most pressing topics in Christian and secular circles. It discusses issues that believers need to hear rather than what they want to hear. The Lord’s Second Coming is drawing closer, so this volume has many topics that will convict and convert many souls to the Lord Jesus Christ. This second volume of Watch and Pray is still your passport to heaven. The abstract is only to scoop the surface of what is inside this volume.
The layout of the book is as follows:
Chapter 1: Are You Tattooed by the Lord or Satan? Today, it seems cool even among some Christians to get as much permanent ink on their skin as possible. Is this a healthy trend? What is behind the ink on your body may surprise you. The trademarks of Christians are the blood of the Lamb and the invisible lights in front and behind true believers, which are sanctified by the Holy Spirit. We receive invisible tattoos initiated to us by our Lord Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit’s power. Our names are tattooed on the Lord’s hand and in his blood. You do not need tattoos to give you a mark of bravery. The Holy Spirit’s baptism gives you power and authority.
Chapter 2: Your Body, Soul, and Spirit Must Be Equal to One. The Holy Spirit is always speaking with a small voice, so slow down your fast and busy schedule and listen to him. Many in the church and ministries are not hearing clearly from God. They make up stories from their deceitful hearts. When the real you (soul) takes control of your human spirit, you are in danger of leading a soulish lifestyle. Our souls are transformed by the renewing of our minds and by the reading of the Word of God. This is why so many believers continue to struggle with sin even after accepting Christ. Their souls are still jacked (body, soul and spirit are not equal to one) up that they need to be spiritually aligned with the Spirit of truth.
Chapter 3: Choose Spiritual Christmas over Carnal Christmas. The spirit of Christmas is carnal, and it is increasingly becoming carnal year by year. Christmas has been politically correct, with most Christmas cards expressing things like season’s greetings or holiday greetings but with no mention of Jesus Christ’s birthday, which gives every disciple a spiritual rebirth. Christmas is about God sending his Son to embrace us with his love through him. The demonization of Christmas by the church and by Christians is defaming Jesus Christ and his works. Christmas is not one day but every day, because it comes with peace, joy, and eternal salvation.
Chapter 4: Discernment or Deception: End-Time Reality. Today, the body of Christ is in a severe state of confusion because Satan has disguised wolves and ravens to go into churches and lure believers away from the truth of God and into destructive error. Believers are too quick to accept signs and miracles without checking their sources and the spirits behind those performing these things. Test every spirit by discerning it with the Word of God and the Holy Spirit. Put your trust in God but not in man. False prophets and diviners use words from your own mouth to destroy you. In their presence, say nothing. Don’t arm them with your own words to confuse and destroy you. As divination rises and spiritual discernment sinks to an all-time low, deception increases. It is about time Christians wake up and put on their robe of spiritual discernment, holiness and righteousness.
Chapter 5: Discerning True Anointing from False Anointing: End-Times Dilemma. The anointing does supernatural accomplishments and exploits. Anointing involves daily spiritual exercise that goes unabated in a believer’s life. Today, many Christians cannot distinguish between the sweat of the flesh (false anointing) from the dew of heaven (true anointing). We often mistake fake anointing for the real thing. False prophets are Christian leaders or workmen of God who are covertly satanic. You are anointed to be appointed, but many walk in their own anointing and appointment.
Chapter 6: Fresh Oil for Oil Press. Today’s prosperity gospel is on a collision course with oil press moments. The hot theology around the world today, particularly in Africa and America, is that if your faith works correctly, you will not suffer. None of the great men of God walked away from oil press because the Lord Jesus showed up in the darkest moments of their lives. Oil press moments will be faced by real believers, but the prosperity gospel is telling them that you do not need oil press moments to build your faith. When faced with oil press moments, we need to trust in God by praising and worshipping him than never before. Praising and worshipping tickle God and release anointing power to dismantle the oil press chains.
Chapter 7: I Will Praise and Worship You Forever, Lord Jesus. In our worship, we focus on that which makes God worthy of praise. Great is the Lord, and he is worthy of our praise. Worshipping releases the glory of God to us. Today, the presence of God is missing in our churches because of lack of unity of purpose in our gatherings. Worship frees us from egoism, lust, greed, hatred, anger, and jealousy. We ought to be selfless and focus on him because he is worthy of our praise in good and bad times. Praises and worship break down the spirits of depression, stress, heaviness of heart, and other forms of yoke and bondage.
Chapter 8: Jesus Christ Is More Worried about the Messengers of His Word than His Message. Preaching the Word of God is more sacred and significant than speaking on any other subject because it stands forever (Isaiah 40: 8). Our world is spinning out of control with all kinds of sins, such as violence, egoism, lust, greed, hatred, anger, and jealousy. God is looking for good men and women who will turn the world upside down before the Great Commission. The Word of God is changeless and never dies, but true messengers can flip to the enemy’s side easily. Today’s messengers of the Lord are mocked, despised, scoffed, and killed in worst cases. The only protection for messengers of the Lord is the Holy Ghost fire and the blood of Jesus.
Chapter 9: The Other Side of God: Balancing God’s Love with His Wrath. The teaching and preaching on the wrath of God from the periods of Moses, the prophets, Jesus, the apostles, and now have always brought concerns and faced bitter opposition. There is more opposition to telling the truth than lies. Today, we set ourselves as judges and put God’s character on trial. We cannot always talk about his love without talking about what sustains the love of God in our lives. The wrath of God can also be a turning moment of your faith. Bitter medicine is difficult to drink, but it will heal you in the end. Many Christians are taking the death of Jesus Christ as a joke and making his death meaningless. You will be angry if your son’s death is not turning many souls to the lord. The key to avoiding the wrath of God and subsequent judgment is getting saved by grace through faith. Only when we have faith in the Gospel can we see the vanity of life.
Chapter 10: Pray for Life. Every sinner out there must be saved because we want millions to be saved before the Lord comes. Salvation is inclusive; even the hardened lost are mostly needed in the kingdom of God. There is a greater need to pray for the lost and backsliders across racial, national, and cultural boundaries because the kingdom of God is inclusive(He is the Lord of all). The spotlight must move from ourselves to others for the sake of Christ and the will of God. You are a watchman of God. His kingdom has millions of people, but they are perishing every day. So how can his kingdom come if you’re not winning souls and backsliders? His will in our lives will come if his kingdom comes.
Chapter 11: True Grace or Fake Grace? Heaven or Hell? Watch Out for Your Own Salvation. Grace is unexpected kindness of salvation to the underserving, including all of us. The beauty of grace comes when we set our goals on to the city of God envisaged by Saint Augustine (holiness and righteousness). True grace brings home the Word of God with power, conviction, and alignment of the body, soul, and the Spirit. True grace hates sin but love sinners. Fake grace / hypergrace persons manipulate the scriptures, particularly the Ten Commandments, to suit themselves. Grace is real when we choose not to live in continuous sins but in continuous confession and repentance if we sin. Grace is not cheap. It is validated by God’s holiness and righteousness through the finished work of Jesus Christ. God’s graciousness forgives our sins, then converts, and purifies us to salvation. Saint Augustine simply puts it this way: Love God and do what you like.
If you love God, you will hate sin and love the truth as well. We are saved by grace through faith. When true grace speaks, the impossibilities become possibilities (Luke 1:37).
Each chapter is unique (in terms of substance and length), and offers you different insights, but all drive you to salvation’s gate by connecting you to the Lord of mercy and love.

1. Introduction
Tattoos have become more popular than ever because Satan and his demons know that the Lord’s Second Coming is drawing near. Satan and his demons are enticing and seducing men and women (rich or poor, black or white, small or big), especially Christians, from the apostate-thinking state to tattooing. Today, it seems cool even among some Christians to get as much permanent ink on their skin as possible. Is this a healthy trend? What is behind the ink on your body may surprise you. Tattoos are now seemingly the norm for most Americans under forty. About 40 percent of all Americans between ages of twenty-six and forty have tattoos and/or pierced ears and noses and strange hairstyle. In 2010, over 40 percent of professional sports players had at least one tattoo or piercing. It was reported in the U.S. News and World Report in 2010 that tattooing and piercing were the sixth fastest-growing retail business. It was further estimated that one new tattooing and piercing studio opened up daily from 2008 to 2016. Everyone is doing it, so is it the cool thing to do now? For Christians with tattoos, there is nothing Christ-like about tattoos. If you are a Christian and you have a tattoo, it does not honor God. Tattoos are trademarks and copyrights of Satan. Hence, they are signs of allegiance to the kingdom of darkness. To have a tattoo is to sell your soul to
