    Chapter 1

    What is Latter Day Manna?

WHEN THE ISRAELITES were wandering in the wilderness for 40 years, God fed them with Manna from heaven. They ate the Manna to live.

John 6:31 Our fathers ate the Manna in the wilderness, as it is written: He gave them bread out of heaven to eat." (NASB)

But there was a new Manna, a new bread which was to come.

Jesus spoke of this new Manna.

John 6:33, 35 and 38 For the bread of God is that which comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world. -––- Jesus said to them, I am the bread of life. -–––- For I have come down from heaven." (NASB)

This new Manna is Jesus. Those who ate of the Manna in the wilderness ate of the former Manna, merely a food. Jesus is the Latter Day Manna. All who receive Jesus receives the new Manna.

Jesus, the bread of life, by the Holy Spirit now lives in all who receive Him.

Jesus said in Revelation 2:17 To him who overcomes, to him I will give of the hidden Manna. (NASB)

Our new Manna, Jesus, not only gives us eternal life, but new life with power here on the earth, differing gifts with power.

    How did He do this?

Ephesians 4:8 And He gave gifts to men. (NASB)

That is Jesus has given to all who have received Him, gifts of the Holy Spirit, like little loaves of Manna which come down out of heaven, loaves of power. For the scriptures say:

I Corinthians 12:7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. (NASB)

II Timothy 1:7 "For God has not given us a Spirit of fear, but of power." (NASB)

Ephesians 3:20 "According to the power that works in us." (NASB)

When we partake of Jesus, the real Manna which comes down out of heaven, we may look the same in a mirror, but inside us, there are gifts of the Holy Spirit, waiting to be manifested in power. We are no longer mere mortals; we have powerful gifts of the Holy Spirit.

As it is written in Acts 2:17-18 And it shall be in the last days, God says, that I will pour forth of My Spirit on all flesh, and your sons and daughters shall prophesy. (NASB)

Last days, Latter days, Latter Day Manna, For you.

Keep reading so you can find out what gifts of power you have.

    Praise the Lord!!!

    Chapter 2

    WHY?

WHY IS IT necessary to learn about the Holy Spirit, the Gifts of the Spirit and the Power of the Holy Spirit?

    Three major reasons.

    1) The will of Jesus for His Body.

    2) Unless the United States repents, certain judgment is sure to come.

    3) Revelation 13:16-17 ¹⁶And he causes all, the small and the great, and the rich and the poor, and the free men and the slaves, to be given a mark on their right hand or on their forehead, ¹⁷and he provides that no one will be able to buy or to sell, except the one who has the mark, either the name of the beast or the number of his name. (NASB)

The most important reason for the Gifts of the Holy Spirit is for the Body of Christ. Each born again child of God with the Holy Spirit has one or more manifestations of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. The following scriptures lay a foundation and chapters 3,4,5 & 6 expand on these verses.

I Corinthians 12:27 Now you are Christ’s Body and individually members of it (NASB)

I Corinthians 12:7 But to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good. (NASB)

There are many Scriptures which could be referenced regarding judgment against the United States by God. Although there are many in the Old Testament, the following are from the New Testament.

Romans 1:18, 26,27 ¹⁸For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, (NASB)

²⁶For this reason God gave them over to degrading passions; for their women exchanged the natural function for that which is unnatural, ²⁷and in the same way also the men abandoned the natural function of the woman and burned in their desire toward one another, men with men committing indecent acts and receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error. (NASB)

II Peter 2:6 and if He condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah to destruction by reducing them to ashes, having made them an example to those who would live ungodly lives thereafter; (NASB)

Jude 7 just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire. (NASB)

For those not familiar with Sodom and Gomorrah, they were cities that practiced and accepted gross immorality to include homosexuality. The scriptures state God destroyed these cities for this reason. The United States government and many of its citizens have chosen to go the way of Sodom and Gomorrah. And per the Word of
