Spaces for Love

There are unique spaces in each of our hearts for passion, romance, and true love. These spaces are exclusive and usually only made available to those we find ourselves uniquely attracted to for one reason or another; even if the reason seems to be without reason. Love is many times without logic.

At the same time, these same others are others like no other in our eyes, in our hearts, in our minds, and in our lives. They spark a flame within that may burn white hot. Sometimes the flame is fueled by passion and lust, but burns out before the coals have a chance to ember causing the heart to pang. Those are the ones who come and go. Such are the fires of passion and lust- exciting and memorable, but brief, unsatisfying, and at times regretful.

Other times the flame ignited is unhindered, the coals ember in the heat of romance and the fires of love rise unquenchable. It consumes our spaces for love and we totally ignore self while devoting our focus solely on that one special person in our lives. Ultimately, our spaces for love are reserved for gthe oneh, that one true love who we hope comes along to sweep us off our feet, give us butterflies every time we break away to be with them, make our heart skip a beat when the phone rings, take our breath away in a passionate kiss, feel like heaven in those intimate moments together, and share the rest of our lives with to build a legacy together.
