- Rating: 5 out of 5 stars5/5Honest and direct The simplest explanation of network marketing is that it is a method of marketing that utilizes independent representatives to reach potential customers.Network marketing is a legitimate business, it isn't a con such as a "pyramid scheme"; and it is also known as Multi-Level Marketing (MLM).It is a business model where independent contractors buy into a company's "value proposition" and earn a commission on the products they sell.It is based on providing people with real, legitimate products. Your own financial benefit from MLM is always the result of your own dedicated efforts in building an organisation that sells real products and services. This is a great book about network marketing, honest and direct; with a great sense of humour, the author tells about his own failures and successes, leading you to your own path into the business.

NOTE TO READER
This book is based on personal experiences from my network marketing career. I wrote it with you in mind. I am stating all that is never told in an unbiased, blunt & in your face
style to have all the facts & to be able to not only make an educated business decision, but to understand this powerful industry called Network Marketing.
PREFACE
Times have changed, and the world economy has taken a turn over the first ten years of the 2000s. A turn that has shaped a new generation of entrepreneurs, a new wave of a business models that has been in existence for over 80 years. Today it has become an accepted form of making an income as a secondary option, or a plan B in case a Job or a traditional business doesn’t hold its financial security. That is why most people get involved in Network Marketing, or is it?
It is now 4:12 am on a Thursday morning, and I simply couldn’t sleep. After almost 7 years as a professional Network Marketer, I have been blessed to do as I please as there is no alarm to wake up to. I do have to admit, it was not the best day, as I was reflecting how I was going through my list of contacts and thinking to myself: why did he quit?
and I wonder if she’ll ever get involved again?
. Then I started to zone out on each name of the people that came and left through my network marketing business, and as much as I told myself different stories about why they quit, I’ve realized that I was lying to myself and wondered how many people are doing the same thing?
So this is not a coaching book, as network marketing requires a continual, career lasting coaching. Rather, it is simply a book of industry insights that I promise you have never heard of, and I feel the responsibility to provide it to my fellow network marketers. This book is written with every factual experience I’ve had, good and bad. I wrote it not to influence you, but to force you to ask and evaluate all you’re doing to not fall into the trap of The Lying Network Marketer
. You might find yourself going through mixed emotions as you read through this book; you might realize that you are going through the lie yourself! My hope is to help you with enough facts to be protected and best served by an industry that has given me the full time freedom and complete financial security, and has set me up to live life in my own terms.
