MY BUCKET LIST
Lessons to Learn
Your big opportunity may be right where you are now - Napoleon Hill
One day in conversation someone asked me, What was the most memorable day in your life?
, and that very question sparked a fountain of energy and excitement as I shared my experience. I then shared a few more experiences and with a spirit of genuine interest, my friends listened to me more and they never failed to ask me how. With the support and high energy atmosphere, I then realized that I had done quite a few interesting things outside of my comfort zone and I wanted these vivid memories to be available to those who needed to accomplish a few things in life, as life is but a brief fragile journey, that must make us exceed our limits!
This book is dedicated to everyone who leads a normal life because I am passionate about everyone knowing how to achieve a few feathers in their cap, that will make a good campfire story night. This made me create my bucket list as I recognized that I had many experiences to share and some of them made me proud. I need to tell you what I did and how I did it.
I have heard and so have you heard people say that life is short
. It is an analogy of how you should not wait forever to get things done but to do it because any day in the near future, your circumstances can change. I am a fervent believer that we need some guidance and here I am sharing first hand experiences, all written here making them useful and practical as lessons to be repeated.
Through this book I hope to influence you and give you the ropes of how to go about making your bucket list and achieving them as you journey through different stages in your life. I took my life time to do this and you will probably take a long time to complete them too. You may have done some of what I have accomplished but nevertheless there is so much you can learn from my experiences.
If you have not heard of the term ‘bucket list’ it is a list of everything you want to achieve in your lifetime comprising of dreams that you want to fulfil. We all don’t go about waiting for things to happen; we plan and we create our personal goals and plans.

If you do what you’ve always done,
you’ll get what you’ve always gotten. – Tony Robbins
CONQUERRING A FEAR
Fear of Heights
Fear is the anxiety one faces of the unknown. Like many others, I have a long list of fears and being human as we are, many of them on our list remain in our hearts. One of my biggest fear is acrophobia which is the fear of heights. Does this sound familiar? I could never think of going very high up (anywhere) and then try looking down. I had acrophobia! Acrophobia can range from fear when one stands on the top floor of a tall building, to having a fear of standing on a chair. At least I can say that I was not afraid of standing on a chair, but standing on a balcony or looking out the window of a high-rise building can send cold shivers down my legs. I really cannot recall where this fear came from but I do believe it must be something that I experienced when I was young, like climbing trees or walking on a suspension bridge and not being able to get down; and I did both of these activities!
Water Park Big Slide
There was one time when I went to a theme park with the family and some friends, and I was encouraged to go on a giant water slide. I was dazed by the height of it being about five or six storeys in height. I had no idea what to expect. My friends were water-park veterans and so we joined a
