This book is dedicated to you.

The mind is a powerful force in the human body, and to discover how to submit it under the leadership of God makes you live the abundant life Jesus promised in John 10:10b. God’s purpose for our lives is to live a fulfilled life by living a transformed life.

And be renewed in the spirit of your mind, and that you put on the new man which was created according to God, in true righteousness and holiness.

    (Ephesians 4:23–24 NKJV)

I am grateful to God for His mercies and the people He brought into my life to help it, and also the privilege to share this with you.

The realization and dedication of a life to God brings Change.

    Receiving More from This Book

This book will give you more insight; it is a lead to a twenty-one-day spiritual journey that will enable you to identify your potentials in life. What is the basis for my living? You will understand the importance of renewing your mind and how the life we live is connected to the way we think. Knowing this will change your perception and emotions, reduce your stress, and increase your satisfaction in life. You change your life by changing your thought.

There are two separate minds that create the human controlling voice. There is a conscious mind that can think freely and create new ideas out of the box. The subconscious mind basically is an already programmed database of behaviors which we mostly acquire before we reach the age of six. The subconscious mind moves with its fixed program—it automatically reacts to situations with its previously stored behavior responses. It works without knowledge or control of the conscious mind. This is why we generally are unaware of our behavior. In fact, most of the time, we are not even aware that we are acting unconsciously. And it seems that the unconscious mind is running us on its automatic pilot mode 95 percent of the time.

Neuroscientists have shown that the conscious mind provides 5 percent or less of our cognitive (conscious) activity during the day—and 5 percent is for the more aware people, many people operate at just 1 percent consciousness. The subconscious mind operates at 40 million bits of data per second, whereas the conscious mind processes at only 40 bits per second. This indicates that the unconscious mind is much more powerful than the conscious mind, and it’s the unconscious mind which shapes how we live.

The life we live today reflects our unconscious programming. And most of the programs our unconscious mind runs are based in negativity—example is the fear of what other people are thinking about us, fear of not being loved and respected as we are, etc.

How do I get out of this endless cycle of old programs and start to be more in the conscious mind? I believe it will be a wise use of time to set aside twenty-one days to find out how God’s word can transform the rest of your life by thinking positively.

You can transform your character by being intentional for twenty-one days to change who you were to who you are supposed to be by beginning to allow the word of God to shape your thinking. It takes twenty-one days to break a habit. The Bible says Daniel prayed for twenty-one days and received his answer after that.

The next twenty-one days will change your life.

Taking a chapter a day will give you much time to think about the implication for your life. The Bible says, And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God (Romans 12:2).

To get most from this book to transform your life, don’t be eager to read the next chapter, but rather, pause and take the time to seriously consider what you have read. Let this book be interactive and personalize it.

    Features to Help You

At the end of each chapter is a verse to remember and a question to consider.

Verse to Memorize: The Bible verse will teach the truth in that chapter. Memorizing scriptures improves your life and directs your mind to the promises of God for your life which will intend change in your thoughts.

Questions to Think About: Thinking about the implications of what you have read will help you apply it personally to your life. Write your answers in a notebook.

I Have Said a Prayer for You

Writing this book has been an emotional and praying experience for me. It’s my prayer that you would experience the unbelievable sense of expectation, energy, and joy that comes from discovering your God-given potential with a transformed mind. I am happy for you because I know all the great things that will happen to you. I have never been the same when I identified the potentials God has placed in me.

I challenge you to stick with this spiritual journey for the next twenty-one days, not missing a single day of this challenge. Taking twenty-one days to think about your life is worth it. Make it a priority on your schedule.

I wrote this book because I don’t want anyone to waste his/her life like me by the way I thought. And if you have already wasted most of your life on a wrong mind-set, I will teach how to come out of it.

    Chapter 1

You are the Image of God

So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.

    (Genesis 1:27 NKJV)

You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, All sheep and oxen even the beast of the field, The Birds of the air, and the fish of the sea that pass Through the paths of the seas.

    (Psalm 8:6–8 NKJV)

As God’s image-bearers, humans are symbols of Himself in the world. This is evidenced when people put their faith in Jesus. Their spiritual nature changes so that it mirrors His. The Lord also affirms it here by giving humans dominion over nature and delegating them as earth’s stewards. And have put on the new man who is renewed in knowledge according to the image of Him who created him (Colossians 3:10). The earthly distinction begins to fade away when a person is joined with Christ. Christians increasingly take on the image of God rather than the likeness of the people of earth. The Lord also gave humans dominion over nature and authority to rule over His creation. Have this understanding
