About this ebook
Suddenly, the path turns to reveal another walled estate. The second walled estate is somewhat larger than the first example. I pause in front of the gate.
The image of a large head appears in front of me. The head seems to speak, “Well, sorcerer, it appears that you come to me, instead of me having to come to you.”
I reply, “This world once contained The Sword of Light. Other higher dimensional worlds might well contain such treasures. It is worth the risk for me to explore a bit, even at the risk of my life.”
The head again seems to speak, “Well, sorcerer, it appears that you have The Sword of Light. The Sword of Light does not belong to you. You can leave the The Sword of Light here and leave this world. Else you will die.”
I reply, “Savatin said the same kind of thing, when he came to me for The Sword of Light. I still live and I still wield The Sword of Light. Savatin no longer lives. While I live, I don’t give up The Sword of Light.”
The head again seems to speak, “Well, sorcerer, you can find out how you deal with a demon outside of a pentagram. Leave the The Sword of Light here and leave this world, or you deal with a demon outside of a pentagram.”
I reply, “While I live, I don’t give up The Sword of Light. If it is what you must do, then bring on your demon.”
The head again seems to speak, “Well, sorcerer, you are brave. You are a brave fool. Soon, you will be a dead fool. You will not leave this world with The Sword of Light.” The head then turns and says, “Kill him.”
The being to whom the head speaks is a very large demon. The very large demon is armed with a sword. It roars a challenge and charges at me.
(I am a bit over seven feet tall, however, the demon is maybe closer to eight feet tall. The demon has the advantage of height and reach. I have the advantage of movement and The Sword of Light.)
The Sword of Light has me move to a position where I can pass the charging demon by me. I think to attack the demon’s back as he rushes past. However, the demon proves to be cat quick and it whirls and slashes with its sword. I use The Sword of Light to deflect the slash of the demon’s sword. I can feel the power of the demon as its sword barely misses me. I thrust back and the very tip of The Sword of Light touches the demon. The Sword of Light then fights a sword battle against the demon. The Sword of Light is determined to not lose to the giant demon. Aided by The Sword of Light, I force the demon to move, to continue its attack on me. Meanwhile, The Sword of Light keeps the demon’s sword from killing me. At first, the pace of the demon’s attack is such that The sword of Light and I fight almost entirely a defensive battle. I am smaller than the demon and I move less in the fight. After what seems like a long time, the demon begins to slow the pace of its attack. The sword of Light and I begin to thrust back against the demon and even inflict a few small cuts on the body of the demon.
(A demon is a higher dimensional being. Some of the demon’s sword thrusts come via the fourth dimension. The Sword of Light is also a fourth dimension entity. The demon and The sword of Light fight a true fourth dimension sword fight. Meanwhile, I learn a great deal about movement in a fourth dimensional world. I also learn a great deal about sword fighting in a fourth dimensional world.)
I grow very tired, but I have no choice but to continue to fight.
The demon, who has worked harder than I have, then tries to step back for a little breather. The sword of Light will not allow a breather and I find myself thrusting The sword of Light into the body of the demon.
The demon does not die, but then begins to fight a hopeless defensive battle.
The sword of Light does not go for a quick kill, but continues to wound the demon, until the demon is unable to defend itself and then I end the battle, with a killing thrust of The sword of Light.

I'm the co-author, with Sunset Thomas, of Anatomy of An Adult Film.I have 48 novels and over 299 short stories currently published.I spent my early years in the part of Los Angeles known as the South Central. I was known as Whi' Boy, which was sufficient to indentify me in that place. I'm a skilled kung-fu player, using a system that I learned from a Korean I knew only as 'Pak.' It would be easier to tell you the places that Pak wasn't wanted by the police, rather than the places where he was wanted by the police. Pak's kung-fu system, augmented by some bits and pieces from some Chinese practicioners is quick and effective, or I wouldn't be alive today. My early education was mostly obtained by stealing books from the public library (I always returned them and the Librarian even began to provide me with reading lists.) I did go to high schools, but I never really learned anything there. I eventually graduated from the University of California at Los Angeles, UCLA, with a degree in mathematics.I work as a Systems Analyst and also make a part of my living as a professional gambler (legal in Nevada.) I write science fiction and erotica. My published novels are:Anatomy of An Adult Film (With Sunset Thomas)1. Second Chance: God Killer2. Second Chance: Sky Pirate3. Second Chance: Scroll Seeker4. A sequel to Falling Demon Rain
Chapter 1: Savatin’s Sword
I have taken over the house and the sorcery operation of my deceased Uncle Allos. I obtained Uncle Allos’ grimoire and a legendary sword, called ‘The Sword of Light’ (although that is not the name of the sword.) I have also obtained a ring of very powerful magic. Via negotiations with demons, who live in their magical worlds, I have obtained large amounts of legal tender currency. I am now a rich man. I have obtained a woman for me, from a female sorcerer. The woman came containing some very nasty spells. (Dealing with sorcerers from the magical worlds always comes at the risk of my life.) I have used my magical ring and some sorcerer spells to remove the worst of the spells installed into my woman, by the female sorcerer. In the process of removing the worst of the spells installed into my woman by the female sorcerer, I have learned a lot about the female sorcerer. The female sorcerer is not all that skilled and she involved another sorcerer in her treachery. The other sorcerer is powerful, but left magical traces. I will deal with the female sorcerer and the other sorcerer, but in my own time.
I obtained a legendary sword, called ‘The Sword of Light.’ (The actual name of the The Sword of Light is a magical name that can’t be written in other than a sorcerer language.) Uncle Allos found the Sword of Light and managed to escape with the sword, after a running battle with another sorcerer. The other sorcerer was named Savatin. It seems very likely that Savatin expected me to attack him but I waited until Savatin attacked me and then killed at least the body of Savatin. (Killing the body of a sorcerer does not necessarily kill all of the sorcerer.)
The sword of light isn’t quite a living thing. However, The Sword of Light is a sword. I train with The Sword of Light, on a day by day
