Declutter Your Mind - Maya Raji

CHAPTER 1: How to Declutter the thoughts:

Are you mentally dumped and feel fatigued due to emotional over-exertion? A swirl of fragmented consciousness churning over and over in your mind? If the response is YES, it implies that your subconscious is desperately raising a red flag, crying with you to find a way to have some fresh thoughts.

Just like we arrange Our cabinets or cupboards as they require inspecting at frequent intervals. Internal clutter is what drags you down, so it's good to dispose of it.

1.1  Understanding the problems caused by mental declutter?

The most noticeable psychological impact of mental clutter is the tension it generates, and there is no need to mention that this clutter impacts our overall health. Our system has a feedback loop type of mechanism. Some people create their clutter around a certain psychological component- desires, emotion, images, anxiety, guilt, or an ideal self.

When people surround themselves with things they've already purchased, and now it’s made the mess, this mess may cause discomfort, a poor mood, a mediocre outlook, and undesirable habits. Luckily, it is possible to break this feedback loop to make your mental condition comfortable.

According to various research studies, the psychological effects of mental clutter are:

This can trigger a lot of tension and anxiety.

Feelings of loss may lead to anxiety and depression.

Deviation from the concentration destroys our efficiency.

Bad consequences for ourselves and the people around us.

    1.2  Identifying the mind enemy.

You all undergo certain periods of self-loathing, anger emanating from yourself, and you still appear to be reaching a wall every time now and again, wondering the path you're on and possibly passing through a quarter or middle-life tension. It's not completely inexplicable.

Indecision, self-uncertainty, loss of faith or inspiration are also the things of your inner enemy and consistently destroy your inner peace.

Many people admit their defeat during a battle with their enemy in mind, as he is one of the most powerful enemies ever who are not visible but most strong and control our thoughts.  To beat this enemy, you will be ready to do any change, any routine of life, as well as your habit.  In this case, you want to learn my lessons.

You shouldn't need to exhibit a Dexter-complex to recognize that you may be the main source of your own mistakes and defeats. Luckily, there's an answer: you only have to be mindful of this beast within us, grasp its game plan, and then overcome its demoralizing speech.

Well, what will you need to talk about that? Mentioned below are some explanations why you, above all persons, are your number one worst opponent, including how you can conquer yourself.

    failure to manage the expectations

There's an optimistic, star-eyed voice to lead you. Much clearer may be a sign of utter impracticality and false expectation. It shouldn't get them confused about that.

It's nice to anticipate a lot of self, fantastic to foresee good stuff to come your way. Even so, when you're in a circumstance with the hope that you can get the best out of everything, you will often step out of it feel unfilled. In case you set ridiculous expectations for yourself—then say, you're now going to join for your gym membership and pledge to exercise every day after work—you're either going to tire yourself out and fall, or now you're going just to let go of determination and feel a measure of having disappointed yourself.

This becomes extremely risky when you mishandle perceptions that are beyond the realm of your influence. Expecting people to behave in a certain manner, expecting your employer to praise you in the immediate future or your favorite football team to win the title – you have little or little influence about these problems and may suffer devastation if things don't turn out your way – just because of the mismanagement of your standards.

Be sure you set reasonable expectations for yourself – don't bite away than you can chew. Understand why you don't regulate anything in your sphere. Look, but don't anticipate the next boost or promotion. Be honest about it. If you hope to have it all, you'll be left feeling unfulfilled; if you don't expect much, you'll be left feeling satisfied with what you've earned

Failure to observe the small things

This little piece of rock hurls through the world, you don't have much time for this, but that isn't a reason to hurry through life and concentrate just on the stuff that appears significant. A vehicle, a home, a decent career, a caring husband and wife with two children, and one pet you like. That's all well, but you don't stop a second to enjoy the little stuff around us in achieving these ambitions. The scent emerges from just a cup of tea or coffee in the morning, and the cold air after precipitation on the very hottest day during summer, and the peculiarity of a cloud. Even the smallest things you learn and accomplish every day.

One of the biggest priorities of everybody's life is must have a nice time here. Even when you start to enjoy any little item in front of your eyes, you can surely feel enriched daily. The challenge is to hold with it, though challenges or worries can often distract and also distract your aims.

    Taking it for granted

Compared to the above, this value of your inner opponent is the most prevalent. Every once and then, you contribute to charities and count your luck or experience someone near to us suffering a catastrophe that can reflect in your sense of appreciation for not needing to go through this again they're suffering through. Why don't you still do this?

When you read content, you're there with an internet link, perhaps with a roof that is over your head and also some time to spare. What was the last moment you paused to appreciate your environment fully? Why are you trying to bother? When you did not take anything for granted, you just squeeze everything out of your life.

    The worst critic

Remember, Don't get yourself wrong – it's nice to be a stern judge of yourself. The problem arises then when you push things too far away. If you continually judge and find flaws in what you won't do, you can never achieve the happiness you need to feel fully happy with yourself.

If you appear to evaluate yourself so much, you hang back; if you sell yourself low, you can never experience the maximum worth of your ability. Get to know the voice that criticizes you, strive to grasp where it comes from, and why you hear this. Don't beat your own for any mistake—experience by errors is, after all completely sound way of learning. Continuously over-criticizing yourself can push you up, impede your faith, and make you focus on stuff that does not exist.

    Over-analyzing

Another aspect of your nature is that you over-think anything completely. You may go around in loops, contemplating strategies that are not possible based on essentially incorrect conclusions. There is a battle among your mind or your instinct, your imagination, and your spirit. You startup with a new response to the query and then over-complicate the entire matter and do a total of 180. Still, yeah, it's great to know things through, isn't it?

While it is necessary to consider carefully regarding such topics, over-thinking will prove harmful. E.g., in case if next job interview left you with a negative feeling
