About this ebook
Feelings crowding around me, bubbling to the surface. These mixed emotions have a hold on me. Express them through the words of each poem, before these feelings eat away at me. Filling these holes of the parts taken from me with empty vices.
These are a heady mix of 130 poems and prose. This book contains some explicit language.

2. Fight Fair
Fair weather lovers.
Lovers who met at a street fair.
I told you later
about that date, I’d skipped out on.
You told me there
about the flaky friend, fair weather
for a spring day in the city.
You had a broken heart
easily susceptible
to a smile and a kind word or two.
We pinky sweared to always fight fair.
You would say my smile wasn't playing fair
during a fight or a late-night session.
You would say my smile wasn't playing fair
and we are going through it now,
a few up and overs, a row with no paddle,
always saying my smile wasn't playing fair.
We fought so much we became
fair weather lovers,
where a kiss is our shared secret.
Our lips part, our legs part.
Fair weather lovers.
You go to him
with a dirty secret.
I go to her
with a dirty secret.
Fair weather lovers.

4. Under Another Name
Bob and Jackie.
Not what they seem.
I am your Jackie,
You're my Bob.
Fake aliases.
Fake coworkers.
Fake pretenses.
The names
say one thing,
the texts
say another.
She caught me
laughing way
too often and
mentions it to me.
I say it's Bob,
He's on the job.
She raises an eyebrow
but never a word more.
You say yours is in his feelings.
You are in yours too
for good reason.
I wonder why?
You say, guess, try!
I reply back: LOL.
You wink back.
The cool emoji
enters the chat.
5. Recipe for Disaster
The meat of our convos revolves around sex.
The sexes.
Pepper in talks of this and that about your man,
sprinkle in some jokes that make you giggle.
We kiss to taste.
