- Rating: 3 out of 5 stars3/5The lyrical text and the cartoon like illustrations suggest that this is a book for a very young audience. But I did not feel that it would hold the attention of a very young audience for very long, at least not as something to be read in its entirety to a young class. It could be that young children are excited by this style, but I was turned off by the cutesy robotic images used to personify traits of music, and the upbeat use of language seemed a bit contrived. Perhaps young children would like to have this book read to them in small doses, but it is not something that I would use in my teaching.
