    1. On med-high heat, place a big pan over heat.

    2. Add in the ground breakfast sausage into the pan and use a spatula to break into smaller pieces.

    3. Cook the ground sausage until it is well cooked and browned.

    4. Transfer the cooked sausage onto a paper towel to drain the excess fat.

    5. Return the drained sausage into the pan and reduce the heat to med-low heat.

    6. Season the cooked sausage with xanthan gum and stir together.

    7. Add in the red pepper flakes and fresh sage leaves into the sausage mixture.

    8. Add in a few tbsps of low-sodium chicken stock per time into the sausage mixture.

    9. Stir as you add until a cup of the chicken stock is used.

    10. Bring the mixture to simmer on med-heat, stir until a gravy-like consistency is reached.

    11. Add in heavy cream into the sausage mixture and stir-cook.

    12. Simmer on low-heat until the sausage gravy is thickened as needed.

    13. Season with fresh ground black pepper and salt. Stir together.

    14. Take off the pan from heat and taste the gravy with sausage to adjust seasoning as needed. Serve with keto biscuits.

    Crunchy Almond Flour Cereal with Cinnamon

    Preparation Time: 20 minutes

    Ingredients

    1 egg

    96g golden erythritol

    80g (at room temperature) butter

    1/4 tsp kosher salt

    1/2 tsp baking soda

    1 teaspoon flax meal

    2 tsps cinnamon (ground)

    192g almond flour

    Topping

    2 tsps cinnamon (ground)

    2 tbsps swerve

    28g (melted) butter

    Preparation

    1. In a medium bowl, add kosher salt, baking soda, flax meal, ground cinnamon and almond flour.

    2. Mix the almond flour mixture together until combined and let stand.

    3. In a big bowl, add butter and use an electric mixer to beat for 2 minutes to 3 minutes.

    4. Add golden erythritol into the beaten butter bowl.

    5. Beat butter mixture until a fluffy and light texture is reached.

    6. Add egg into the butter mixture and mix until combined.

    Note: The butter mixture will not be completely smooth in texture.
