When Robert decided to e-mail his team on Friday mornings a message for their personal growth, he had no idea what he was starting. The team loved them, and began to share outside of their company. Suddenly he had requests to send to leaders, and when the list became unmanageable, opted to create subscribers. Now, Friday Forward reaches over 100,000 readers across 50 countries. This collection of most read messages and new prompts are packaged as a weekly devotional for you to end your week stronger than you started it, and as it has from the start: creates a space for reflection, growth, and opportunity.

Introduction
One Friday morning in 2015, I wrote a new email, titled Friday Inspiration,
to my team of forty at Acceleration Partners. That simple note was the first step on a life-changing journey. Five years and 250 Fridays later, that simple weekly note has grown into a newsletter read by over two hundred thousand people in more than sixty countries worldwide each week.
My goal has always been the same: to give readers a dose of positive inspiration that simultaneously challenged them to make improvements in their own lives and careers. The lessons of Friday Forward led to two books: Elevate, my book on building capacity holistically, and Friday Forward, a curated collection of the fifty-two most impactful posts from the series.
I was excited to launch Friday Forward in September 2020, but just a few weeks after I completed the manuscript in February, an unprecedented global pandemic ensued, bringing lockdowns, fear, and crushing economic upheaval.
COVID-19 was the only universal news story for months, and Friday Forward reflected that reality. Nearly every post was dedicated to some aspect of the pandemic—the impact it had on families like mine, the economic hardship so many businesses and workers faced, even the national discussion surrounding how to contain the virus and reopen businesses.
As I wrote Friday Forward
