Introduction
What is depression and what are its psychological mechanisms of functioning? What are the symptoms of mood disorders? How do they affect people's lives?
This guide aims to introduce the reader on a voyage of discovery on the subject, trying to convey the currently available scientific knowledge about depression and mood disorders in a simple, but not simplistic way.
