Before You Begin
Joshua 1:8 states: This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
Although this book uses clever games, word play, and trivia to increase your overall Bible knowledge, its goal is no trivial matter. It behooves every believer to know as much about the Lord and his Word as humanly possible. This book will be overwhelmingly helpful in that endeavor.
To get the true benefits of this book, you may have to go through it more than once. The goal is to challenge you in multiple ways, using multiple strategies and a wide array of exercises, puzzles, and quizzes, to get you to a higher level of Bible knowledge. If you’ve completed the Ultimate Bible Trivia questions, you’re ready for this challenge.
There is no penalty for doing the same exercise repeatedly until you feel comfortable and competent with it. This is not a race given to the swift; the victory will come to those who endure to the end. Feel free to do any exercise any number of times and record only your highest score.
It is far more important for you to learn and know the information in the exercises than to complete the exercises quickly. In fact, I strongly recommend that you never time yourself in any challenge presented but take your time and focus on retaining correct answers.
This is an open-book book. That means you may use your own Bible to find answers. It is always a good thing to have the Good Book open, and you are never penalized in any way for referencing your own Bible as you seek answers to the thousands of questions presented.
Some of the exercises may be easy for you, and some are maddeningly difficult. However, they all have one purpose, and that is to teach the Word of God and bring you to the highest levels of Bible understanding and true knowledge.
Section 1
Getting to Know the Bible
This section deals with Bible information, facts, and questions and answers. (Answers begin on page 215.)
All human discoveries seem to be made only for the purpose of confirming more and more strongly the truths contained in the sacred Scriptures.
Sir William Herschel
