The Spirit and the Soul Within Me and Don't Lose Your Identity
()
About this ebook
She came to believe that words penetrate the mind before flowing down to have an effect on the heart. As Cecilia continued to explore the negativity around her, she realised how detrimental negative words can be on the soul, particularly one that is not strong. For this reason, Cecilia started considering the spiritual aspect of life. In particular, the driving force behind the behaviour which leads to physical and psychological disorders. She analysed the way in which people identify themselves, and a potential journey leading to better health.
Cecilia quickly understood that everything we are begins with our thoughts, which are primarily caused by what we hear. She discovered that the way problematic situations were dealt with was due to whether we chose to embrace and accept them, or not.
The book examines discovering your identity through being aware of who you are, and thereafter affirming it. It depicts the importance of not changing ones values or beliefs for anyone, anywhere, and the significance of self-worth. The magnitude of societal factors is prominent with the resolute principle that it should not dictate who you are or what you become. This book will guide you to feeling good within yourself and about your life, irrespective of your situation.
Cecilia first wrote The Spirit and the Soul Within Me whilst at the same time as drafting a second edition, Dont Lose your Identity. However, she decided to amalgamate the two manuscripts and worked day and night in order to share her findings. Her aim remains to help others who are experiencing distressing times and as a consequence feel lost.

A Sculpting Society
The human body is made up of three elements: a spirit, a soul and the body in which we live. Consider the spirit as positive thinking, the soul as being influenced by your thoughts and emotions (developed from your surroundings) and the body which acts in accordance with the soul. In these current times, instead of the spirit controlling the soul and the body, it has become quite the opposite. The soul is actually controlling the body, eliminating the spirit.
The spirit is attempting to force its way in to communicate with the soul so that together they can keep the body on the right track.
But, there is a problem. The spirit is powerful and can’t be influenced. Yet, the soul as the weakest link can be, and is flooded with negative thoughts like fear and anxiety, which affects how the body behaves.
As a result, the soul detaches from the spirit and forms a closer bond with the body.
However, the spirit loves us too much and so will never give up on the soul. The Spirit tries hard to re-join the soul so that they can become one again and do what’s right. But it’s hard for the soul to understand what the spirit is trying to do which is when we become confused in our decision-making.
The result being that when one goes through life problems such as sickness, fear or depression, we simply accept our situation because we’ve lost the spirit and soul connection. What we should be doing is bonding with our spirit and rejecting such issues.
There is absolutely no need to accept your situation the way it is. Instead, listen to your inner spirit, as it is this that will lead you to good health, better self-worth and ultimately a happy life. You can conquer all the difficulties in your life, as they are all fear.
Start believing in your God-given self-worth and with that, you can overpower all the negative energy within and around you.
If you start thinking differently, more positively, you will see differences in your life.
This is what we look like today – due to society:
Sometimes we go through painful situations in life that make us want to give up. We can’t seem to figure a way out so we accept them, thinking it is normal.
What we are really saying to ourselves is that it is impossible to solve these problems. Instead of us reflecting on the cause (or root) of our problems, we magnify the problem by thinking more about them, in the hope that they will go away.
When we worry about things we cannot see, the negative vibration around us (the enemy) creates big pictures in our minds. This is our imagination telling us how the situation is going to look and how big a problem it’s going to be. So we start panicking, which worsens the situation. This enemy is now controlling our thoughts.
2 Corinthians 10:5: We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
Be mindful of your thoughts and allow the positive thoughts (your spirit) to take over. We focus too much on what is wrong with us, instead of what is right with us.
Imagine your problems as a diseased tree. You wouldn’t chop down the tree as it will simply grow again. Instead, you would remove the tree from the root, in other words aim for the cause of your problems.
The universe was created from nothing except the spoken word of God’s imagination. Scientists record that the universe consists of 95% space. This means that you and I can create our own space from our own imagination. But only if we believe in ourselves and don’t allow negative thoughts to get in our way. Otherwise, this negativity will be made a reality.
John 1:1: In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
This means that we have the right words within us. Words have power, so you all have the power to manifest whatever you want. You are powerful.
But how can you establish anything you want, and how do you demonstrate it?
Genesis 2:7: God said, Let us create man in our image.
God created you and I to resemble him.
So, if you and I are like God, then, you and I can do what Jesus did when he was on earth. Why didn’t Jesus ever get sick or contract any disease?
He never allowed anything to trouble him even though there was chaos, sickness and disease around him. He simply saw himself as above everything, and so can we, because you and I are created in his likeness. However, why can’t we do what Jesus did?
It’s because we are living in a day and age where society tells us how to think, how to behave, how to feel, what to say and who to associate with, which has corrupted the mind (the soul). It has become difficult to break this mentality.
That is the reason why so many people try so hard to be accepted in society. They’ve lost their identity. All these standards were created by someone for you and I to follow. Irrespective of what society says, we are all capable of creating our own universe. It is already within us.
If researchers record that the universe is 95% space, then what is stopping you from becoming who you want to be? It is society’s negative thoughts around us that is stopping you. See yourself beyond human capabilities as Jesus did.
Sometimes we put ourselves down so much that we sometimes feel we are incapable of anything. Why? Because we’ve allowed ourselves to feel this way. But with the right attitude, you and I can reverse it.
Today, everything we see around us was created by human imagination that has been made into reality.
