Being in charge of a trust or probate can be a thankless job, and it can be challenging, time consuming, and emotional. On top of that, the executor or trustee many times is not prepared for the challenge. Most are not professional estate administrators. They did not go to school for administrating an estate. No one trained them. Most are left to navigate the challenge on their own without proper guidance. This book is designed to give the estate administrator some guidance based upon our combined 45 years of selling property that is in probate or trust. What we have learned is there are 14 challenges faced by almost all administrators who are selling real estate. Knowledge is power, and if the administrator can understand the challenges better, he or she can make better decisions.
One note to the reader: the terms executor, administrator, and trustee have precise legal
