About this ebook
Being initiated into Black Witchcraft and mastering this alluring paradigm, as time progressed we became familiar with the vastness of the craft through numerous traditions and such. When Witchcraft rose in Europe, these practitioners worked with the old Deities, such as Pan, Diana, Aradia, Venus, Pluto, Molech etc. The Deities that formed part of the godhead in European Witchcraft indicate strong Roman and Greek influence, however in most traditions of Witchcraft you will find a Mother goddess and a Father god. The god and goddess walk closely together, just as their human servants. Diana and Cernunnos, Ereshkigal and Nergal, Samael and Lilith etc all share this perfect duality. We present to you, the Book of Azarak. This great work will assist the worthy to find their path in this turbulent world of deception and half-truths. May this books serve you well, just as it has served us over the years.
Baron Araignee
We are Rheiner and Vanessa Le Roux, also known as “Baron and Baronessa Araignee”. (Personally, we find pseudonyms ridiculous however it seems to achieve its goal) We are the owners of Araignee Arcane Services, The Arcane Press as well as authors on the subject of Spiritual Ascension and the Metaphysical. Under Araignee Arcane Services, we offer our clients a wide range of specialised Occult services, from Spiritual Counselling, Consultations, Evocations, Divinations, Astrology, a few of our published books and a whole range of metaphysical services and products. Our personal practice is known as “Hexagrammaton” under which we published a book with the same title: The Hexagrammaton. Our path is not a road which many can and will follow as it takes a tremendous amount of dedication to see through. The path of the Hexagrammaton is one which is balanced yet centres around the hidden nature or “Aleph” of every individual: the seat of god. Our personal path is not influenced by any other paradigms or people but is formulated from experience and practically applied from what we found as undeniable evidence hidden in various places. Even though we have studied and practiced many lessor variants of the Occult, such as Alchemy, Witchcraft, Ceremonial High Magick, Grand Necromancy and others, we can profess that the greatest of Great Work lies hidden within each individual, and not outside of humanity. Unfortunately, through numerous misconceptions, misinformation and so forth, the world of the Metaphysical has become no better than religious institutions which are founded by individuals who twist the Truth to suit their own deluded needs. With this being said, we are not Religious individuals, nor do we attribute demons and goblins to everything which goes bump in the night! We are Stoic individuals with lucid reasoning, thus cannot be convinced of the existence of anything if there is not undeniable evidence to support its existence. In other words: We are not theorists…

The Book Of Azarak - Baron Araignee
The Book Speaks
"For eons My children have travelled from candle to candle, venturing between worlds, serving at the feet of the Gods! The knowledge gained, passed down from Mighty Trees to Seedlings that fell upon the Black and Scorched Earth. Some of these seeds grew into mighty Oaks while others became as Creepers feeding upon the life of others.
The Veiled Path is not kind and forgiving as many burnt souls can profess, for it seeks willing victims so that My trials can transmute the lesser into something great!
Be not wanting in intent My child, for I can see to your very heart! I shall weigh and measure every breath and place this upon the scale of worth! Succeed in thy Heart and you will find Me within, as I am Thee and Thee art within Me!
So long ago humanity knew but forgot or forgot that they once knew, yet you stand before My door...Have you yet begun to remember?
Life is but a blinking moment in the face of beyond, and in this Necropolis you and I shall be face to face as if staring into a Black Mirror.
Do not waver on your path, even though there are many trials. Some will weigh you down with immense sorrow, while others will make you soar as a mighty Griffin. The path you tread is not dire, for I walk with you, watching - waiting with hand extended, reaching out to you for acknowledgment.
This book of woe and bliss is but a seed of knowledge I bestow upon you, My child. The words written are but mere senseless rantings if you find no worth in them. For in the end, wisdom is in the heart of the wise and its roots stretches forth to eternity. Be ye blessed or damned, the choice has always been yours."
Introduction
The Condemned:
"It was the morrow of the burning, Pray thee, I do not lie. Witch-folk's great earning, Thick smoke in the sky.
The townsfolk were staring, At the long lines to die. Staked flames were flaring, As the fire grew high.
The cross stood there guarding, The sight of great stress. Not worth a penny farthing, Like a whore in a dress.
Torture and torment, The order of the day. For god an’ church orders, They baked just as clay. The village cats squirming, Screeching, Nay! Nay! Nay!
Mothers and daughters lined up in turn, Fathers and sons, watched as they burn. Screaming and great suffering, day after day, As the town's folk jeered: Hip Hip Hooray!
Repentance are requested, they do persevere, In the name of god they seemed o, so sincere.
The remedies of Christians for those not like them, Is a fiery reminder of those they condemn!"

eing Initiated into Black Witchcraft and mastering this alluring paradigm, as time progressed we became familiar with the vastness of the craft through numerous traditions and such. We cannot be candid with what we know to be truth and simply follow mainstream beliefs. Unfortunately, there are many Witches and Practitioners that view this craft with shuttered eyes. There simply is not a true path or tradition of Witchcraft and NEVER will be.
The knowledge of the Craft is traditionally passed down from a single teacher to a student. There never existed covens or guilds of Witches that served some sinister purpose on a global scale. This concept arose much later on through romanticized fictional literature and sagas. Each nation of the world had their form of Witchcraft, whether it may be more sinister or not. The tradition of the Craft itself is unimportant, what should be viewed as important is the Practitioner's approach to their chosen tradition. Witchcraft will simply not work for everyone as we all have likes and dislikes. If you cannot fully immerse yourself therein, you will not succeed.
It is not that the Forces
you work with demands a lot from the Witch, the truth lies in the perception and determination of the Initiate. Let's take a look at history so that you may gain better understanding of the craft.
When Witchcraft rose in Europe, these Practitioners worked with the Old Deities, such as Pan, Diana, Aradia, Venus, Pluto, Moloch etc. The Roman Catholics viewed this as a threat, for secretly they feared the return of the old ways and assumed that their own religion would not survive. Many of the Roman Catholics were fanatics and most of the rulers of the period were Roman Catholic. The Vatican itself had its spies situated across the globe, thus news spread quickly and eventually the religious persecution began. Perhaps the underlying fear was that another Emperor Nero would rise and have Christian roasting parties. We cannot be certain, however what we do know is the cause of the persecutions must be human fallibility.
The Deities that formed part of the God-Head in European Witchcraft indicated strong Roman and Greek influence. Very little of the populace in England actually worked with their Pagan Deities. It seems as if the Greek and Roman Philosophers had a far-reaching influence, and of course modern-day Brits are of Roman decent due to the expansion of the ancient Roman Empire. This will explain why parts of Europe to this very day practice this eclectic tradition.
In most traditions of Witchcraft, you will find a Mother Goddess and a Father God. There are some that may perceive the Couple as Archetypes, however this truly does not matter. What you may or may not note is that usually the Goddess is the Darker counterpart whereas the God is the Lighter version. What is the significance of this? This simply indicates that the Female is linked to Saturn, Water and the Moon, and the Male is linked to Mars, Fire and the Sun. In short, these ancient Deities received attributes through human perception and primitive understanding. Women are more devious, just like Goddess Persephone whereas Men are more aggressive akin to the God Mars.
The God and Goddess walk closely together, just as Their human servants.
In the Hindu tradition, the Goddess Kali and the God Shiva hold sway over One Another. The Couple is so very much alike, that it is very difficult to determine who is who. As seen with the pair, Kali is the darker counterpart and reflects the insidious wrath of a scorned woman. She becomes an unstoppable force when enraged that no other God can intervene except Her mighty Consort, Lord Shiva. This indicates balance when together and imbalance when separated. The Hexagram and Yin-Yang is the perfect representation for this Divine balance that should be reflected by humanity.
Witchcraft is no different. Diana and Cernunnos, Erseshkigal and Nergal, Samael and Lilith etc all share this perfected duality. It's just a shame that the majority of followers of these traditions do not share this same Divine spark. If the Divine Duality and synchronicity were non-existent, then why was it represented as such throughout the globe, from different cultures whom had no contact with one another? We leave this deduction up to you. Make of it as you will, it is up to you.
We present to you, The Book of Azarak. This Great Work will assist the worthy to find their path in this turbulent world of deception and half-truths. May this book serve you well, just as it has served us over the years.

Chapter One: The White Scroll
I
n Witchcraft, you will come across Archetypes known as the Mother and Father God(ess)
. This is a concept brought over from Dualistic paradigms, strongly rooted in the Hermetic and Gnostic movements and later practiced in High Magick. This kind of Archetype was usually singular, such as masculine or feminine. In early human history the male symbol such as the phallus was one of the first symbolic representations of the Archetype and later on discoveries were made of the Earth-Mother symbol from during the middle Neolithic periods.
Many cults arose during the Dark Ages such as the Cult of the Goat, Ram and Golden Sickle. Much later the Dualistic concept arose in Europe and the Western world, due to the influences of Alchemists and later, as mentioned, the Hermetics.
The Hellenistic Era brought to light the ideals that both men and women could work with both masculine and feminine Archetypes. Some argue that the true age of Witchcraft arose during this period, however there are no factual evidence to support this claim and many others of the nature. It is important for the Witch to understand his or her heritage and not entertain false information and ideals that so many modern-day covens proclaim to be the gospel.
In the Satanic tradition, Samael and Lilith forms the ideal manifestation of dark ascension in the form of Baphomet. In many cases this is similar to Shiva-Kali in the Hindu belief system. The same can be said for Odin and Freya from Germanic tradition. The Father and Mother Duality are not merely a symbol for fertility and procreation, but also Fire and Water, Light and Dark, Above and Below, the Physical and Spiritual and much much more. It is essential for the Witch to understand the dynamics of the Great Duality, whether the individual perceives it as an actual External Force or an Internal Construct/Archetype.
We will start the chapter by introducing the Mother Goddess. She is known by many names and wear many guises:
Black Venus
Black Venus
is a title given to any of the Archetype Mother Goddesses in existence. These Characters have all the following in common:
Sexuality, Fertility, Vengeance, Crossroads, Birth, Moon, Earth, Water and Poison.
Black Venus
is a title used to explain both the Benevolent and Malevolent nature of these Goddesses. This Being/Archetype is in fact neither, yet both. In the Western tradition of Neo-pagan Witchcraft, this Being is known as Diana or Aradia and so on. In Hindu beliefs, She is commonly referred to as Kali. Irrelevant of Her names or titles, She serves the same character and nature, which is evident through religious and universal comparison. In this chapter we will not disclose detailed popular mainstream beliefs concerning the Mother/Father Archetypes/Beings as this information has been made exhausted by many literatures and their authors. Here follows some of Her names and offices for your consideration:
Tana: The Star Goddess (Universal Aspect).
Jana: Goddess of the Moon, and the Mysteries of the Moon.
Fana: Goddess of the Earth, and of Fertility.
Fortuna: Goddess of Fortune, Fate, and Luck.
Carmen: Goddess of the casting of spells, and of enchantments.
Diana: The Triad Goddess: Maiden, Mother, Crone. Goddess of outcasts, outlaws, slaves, and oppressed peoples. Diana encompasses many other Goddesses, and is the name also used for the Moon Goddess, Earth Goddess, and Star Goddess.
Umbria: Goddess of the Shadows. Umbria is the Dark Aspect of the Goddess (Waning Moon), and rules with Dis in the Underworld. Goddess of things which are Hidden, or secret.
Nox: Goddess of the Night. Nox rules the Darkness which falls upon the Earth, and all within it. She is the sister of Umbria, and shares her associations (except for the Underworld connection).
Astrea: Goddess of Justice.
