Introduction

Bones are in a state of constant renovation as they are stripped of old material and restored with new. This activity occurs every second of every day for your entire life. Now you can maximize your bone-building process with minimal disruption to your daily life.

As a credentialed Safety Inspector and Quality Control Specialist, I look at complex processes to find the gaps, waste, and conflicts within them. The human body’s bone-building process is amazing! It uses extremely basic compounds to grow and support living tissue, which is an extraordinary feat unto itself. These and other fascinating occurrences are going on inside of us to keep our bones strong and healthy.

The information offered here provides a path of least resistance to stronger bones and a healthier life. Moreover, the strategy presented will enable you to achieve long-term results with only the smallest investments in your health. Because of my training, I am keenly aware of human factors that lead to the failure of overly burdensome routines. My goal is to share with you a simple approach toward significantly improving bone quality and overall health.

Although there are many factors involved in osteoporosis and osteopenia—such as genetics—a primary cause is the improper quantity and ratio of the vitamins and minerals that we consume. Moreover, maintaining a healthy liver is critical for achieving high bone density. Popular fat-burning products have been shown to injure the liver, which is detrimental to the bone building process. Therefore, you are going to be introduced to two searchable databases that will enable you to identify products that can damage your liver and weaken your bones.

Additionally, key factors such as direct and indirect bone nutrition knowledge, the best foods and vitamin formulations, and when to take your supplements are all discussed here. Included in the discussion are fact-based responses to the myths and misinformation regarding vitamin D, iodine, and more.

To make your life easier, daily supplementation schedules are included for different age groups. The calendars I created take into account age-related variables, such as income, lifestyles, and nutritional needs. Moreover, I go a step further by identifying several supplement options to get the best quality for cost.

I have no financial interests in the products I recommend. My only interest is in sharing information to improve your quality of life.

References to superfoods, magic diets, and mystical secrets from faraway lands are not contained in this book. However, you will discover a sustainable, common-sense approach to building stronger bones.

When appropriately applied, vitamin therapy can transform your system into a full-time antagonist to bone loss, even while you sleep. It also delivers an array of additional health benefits, including faster healing and protection against disease. The more you read, the more you will realize the level of control at your command.

The information has not been cherry-picked to support foregone conclusions. My goal, again, is to show you a path of least resistance to superior bone quality and overall health—a path you won’t mind walking for the rest of your life.

Young Adults

Through an internal

process called bone remodeling, the average person will rebuild more than seven complete skeletons over time.¹ Younger adults can reap the greatest benefit from this life-long process. Now is the time to take full advantage of your bone-building capacity: the stronger your bones are by age thirty, the stronger they will remain throughout the rest of your life. Bone health is not a topic solely for individuals age sixty and older…it is an important and exciting subject for us all.

How to Use This Book

If you fall somewhere in the middle, consider starting at the paragraph heading How Much and How Often within the chapters. Make sure to also read the Daily Supplement Schedule for your age group and the remaining chapters after it.
