About this ebook
Jason Foster’s teen years are a roller coaster of rip-roaring adventures.
Confronting notorious street gangs, stand-offs, eight-to-one fights, drug traffickers. Girls, stolen kisses, a sibling that can accurately predict the future.
And with only a light sprinkling of magic, Jason takes it all nonchalantly in his stride.

Chapter One
The early hours. of the morning saw Jason perched on the foot of his bed, head in hands. He was sat in deep concentration, recalling everything that was taking place. His sister Alison decided she wanted to go to university and train as a nurse when she left school. And Emily Louise, the baby of the family, would be celebrating her fifth birthday in a few weeks’ time and it wouldn’t be long before she started school.

He glanced over at the alarm clock on his bedside table—6:30; it would be at least another thirty minutes before the rest of the Foster family stirred.
He made his way to the bathroom and after a loo visit, he washed his hands and went back to his bedroom. He had intended to take a shower, but after careful consideration had changed his mind. He didn’t want to be accused of waking Emily Louise, who was a light sleeper.
Today was Friday, and he had a long weekend to look forward to. He had nothing planned, but expected per usual, he would be spending it with his best friend, Wayne Hicks.
Jason was worried about Wayne; he’d confided he was being bullied by some of his classmates at school because he didn’t like sports or have a girlfriend.
When the alarm went off, Jason decided to make a dash to the bathroom before anyone else beat him to it. He was in and out of the shower in less than ten minutes, but before he had time to dry off, Alison was banging on the door telling him to get a move on.
He
